Grimes of the county of Navarro, in consideration of the sum of $1.00 paid by E.S. day and the further consideration of correcting certain errors occurring in a deed made to said E.S. Day by us on the 23rd day of Nov. 1883, and recorded on Jan 8, 1884 in Vol 45, page 505 deed records of Navarro County. Signed at Blooming Grove Nvo 23, 1883) Have granted, sold and conveyed to the said E.S. Day of Coryell County 152 acres . The tract or parcel of land situated in Navarro Co about 20 miles west from the town of Corsicana Texas on the waters of Post Oak Creek and is part of the Frederick Grimes Survey granted to us by the State of Texas on the 4th day of Aug 1846 and bounded as follows: Beginning at the N.E. Corner of C.C. SHEPPARDS 123.5 acre survey out of the F. Grimes survey a stake in the north line of said Grimes survey from which a mesquite 7: in dia. N36E 107.5 vars Thence S30E 1537 vars to a stake from which a Mesquite 4 in dia bro S62E 9 vars and a locust 5 " dia brs N4W 24 vrs. Thence N60E 558 vars to FRED M. GRIMES JR West line a stake from which a mesquite 10 " dia brs N52.52 109.5 vars. Thence3 N30W 1537 to Fred GRIMES Northwest corner. Thence S60W 558 to Beginning Containing 152 acres. To have and to hold the above described tract or parcel of land unto the said E.S. DAY her heirs or assigns forever free from our heirs or assigns and we do by these presents agree to warrant and forever defend the title of the same unto the said E.S.
