Hight of the State of Texas and County of Hill for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred Dollars have this day bargained and sold Joseph Murphy of the same state and County of Nav-arro a certain timbered lot of Land out of the E. Carroll Survey in above written state and County on the waters of Richland Creek Beginning at the N.E. Corner of my 30 acre lot on the East line of said Survey a st- thence S 30 E 70 Vs St- Thence SW N vs to a St Mid Channel of Michel Grove branch Thence down said branch to my North West Corner- thence N led E vs to the beginning containing 15 acres. The same to have and to hold with all rights priveliges and immunities I warranting the title to the same- Given under my hand and seal- Using scroll for Seal this the 24th day of December 1875 AD R.H. Hight The State of Texas Hill County Before me W.J. Gray a Justice of the Peace & Ex officio Notary Public in and for said County personally came R.H. Hight to me well Known and acknowl-edged that he executed the foregoing instrument in writing dated 24th day of December AD 1875 and that he Signed Sealed and delivered the same for the purposes uses and con- siderations therein stated.
