State of Texas I, W.M. Scott, of Navarro and State of Texas in consideration of $60 Sixty dollars as paid by F.M. Grimes, cash the receipt of which is acknowledged. Certain tract or parcel of land described as fol: Beginning at the SE corner of E P Gains Chism survey Whence a pecan 12 in dia N61 W76 vrs Thence N30W 44 vrs to a stake Thence N60E 155 vrs to stake in line of St. Louis S.W. Railway right of way Thence N89W 232 1/2 vrs to stake in SW RR right of way Thence S30 vv 169 vrs to stake in said Chism S.B. line Thence S60E31 vrs to the beginning containing one acre of the E.P. Gains Chism survey and tow acres of the W.R. Bowen survey. Containing 3 acres more or less The above land was deed to me by (left blank) Witness my hand at B. Grove 8th day Oct 1901 W.M. Scott Before Jo B. Germany Notary public of Navarro Co. =========== Navarro County. Know all men by these presents: Whereas by deed of this date W.M. Scott has conveyed to F.M. Grimes three acres of land one acres out of the E.P. Gains Chism survey and two acres out of the W.R. Bowen survey, all in Navarro Co Tx, and for a better description reference is here made to said deed. And where by deed I conveyed to J.J. Scott on Oct 5 1900 68 5/6 acres of land and 3 acres above mentioned are a part of said 68 5/6 acres tract, retaining all vendors Lien to secure payment of certain notes (Land above described is out of the E.P. Gains Chism and W.R. Bowen surveys all in Navarro County) and where as I am desirous of perfecting F.M. Grimes' title to above three acres of land. Now therefor, I W.A. Fitzgerald for valuable considerations do hereby release the Viendors Lien I hold on above described three acres of land, but this deed does not in any way release the 65 56/ acres I deeded to J.J. Scott on Oct 5, 1900. I only release above described 3 acres.
