SEWELL and KATE SEWELL, wife of A.J. Sewell of the State of Texas and county of Navarro for and in consideration of the sum of $1,000 ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS to us in hand paid, by FM AND E.S. GRIMES of Coryell County we have have this day sold, and conveyed unto FM GRIMES and wife all the rights title and interest we have in or any manner pertaining to a certain tract or parcel of land situated in town of BLOOMING GROVE and bounded as follows. Beginning from the NORTHWEST corner of a CRABTREE survey 131 Var to a stake Thence S 30 E 62 vrs to stake Thence S 60 W 37 1/2 vrs to stake Thence S 30 W 93 3/4 13 vr to West line of the Crabtree Survey Thence N60 W 75to the place of beginning Containing in all 1 3/4 ACRE more or less. To have and to hold the above described tract or parcel of land unto the said F.M. GRIMES & WIFE his heirs or assigns forever free from our heirs or assigns and we do by these presents agree to warrant and forever defend the title of the same unto the said F.M. GRIMES his heirs or assigns free from the lawful claims of any and all persons whomsoever claims the same or any part thereof this the 12 day of September 1882. A.J. SEWELL KATE SEWELL appear separately before D.B. Hartzell Notary Public of Navarro. Recorded Jan 23, 1883. Additional Comments: Their youngest daughter, Annie, married 1882 in Coryell County to E.A. Culpepper and remained living there. We think this is the time that FM & ES moved to Navarro County where their 2 sons, Samuel and FM, were living.
