Palmer, a leading citizen and druggist of Blooming Grove, in this county, was fatally cut last night by a knife in the hands of Otto Aunsworth. Aunsworth came into the drug store and approached Dr. Palmer for a prescription upon which he could procure some whisky, Blooming Grove being a local option town. The doctor refused to give the prescription as the man was already drunk. Aunsworth cut the doctor almost in two. Dr. Palmer fell to the floor, and the ruffian made his escape.
