Aug 5. the 14 year old daughter of Jle Slater, a farmer living at Brushy Prairie, received a fractured skull when the horse attached to the buggy in which she and two other companions were seated, ran away, overturning the buggy. The little girl died in a few hours after the accident. None of her companions were injured.
