Funeral services will be held from the Patterson Memorial Prebyterian Church, of which he was a deacon, Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Eureka Cemetery. The rites will be conducted by Rev. Henry M. Bailey, pastor. Bonner was a Mason and formerly was a farmer-rancher-merchant. Surviving are his wife of Eureka; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Lipscomb, Eureka and Mrs. Robert P. Schaefer, Houston; two sons, Richard Bonner, Houston and Bill Bonner, Eureka; seven grandchildren, four brothers, Haynes Bonner, Corsicana, Fred Bonner and Brice Bonner both of Eureka, and John Bonner, Fort Worth; four sisters, Miss Mary Belle Bonner, Eureka, Mrs. J. M. Price, Corpus Christi, Mrs. M. M. Minza, and Mrs. A. E. Lewis both of Houston; and aunt Miss Nettie Barnett, Eureka and other relatives. Notes: Lewis was the son of James Andrew & Mattie Barnett Bonner born 21 Jan 1890 in Eureka and died 28 Sep 1956 in Eureka. Lewis married Bertha Savara Robbins on 7 Jun 1914 in Hayrick, Coke Co., TX.
