Hugh  M. Bower, age 75 buried Friday.  Died Thurs at the home of his daughter,
Mrs. W.A. Hand in Fort Worth. Services held from the Christian Church here
Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Rev. Joe Snell conducted the rites. Interment was
in White Church cemetery.

A native of Georgia, Mr. Bower came to Texas in 1893 and had resided at Blooming
Grove 45 years.  Surviving are the following children: Rex Bower, Corsican; Mrs.
Floy Mae Hand, Fort Worth; Alberta Bower, Blooming Grove; Francise C. Bower,
Blooming Grove; Mrs. Christine Blanton, Dallas; L.C. Bower, Fort Worth, Mrs.
Lorene Moore, Ft. Worth; and Mres. Hazel Clark, Corsicana. Thirty grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren survive.  McCormick Funeral Service was in charge.
