Kathryn Conn


Kathryn Conn, 83, of Longview and formerly of Corsicana, passed away Thursday,
June 16, 2005, at Summer Meadows Nursing Home in Longview.


Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Oakwood Cemetery with Dr. David
Hale officiating.
Mrs. Conn was born Jan. 6, 1922, in Port Arthur to Clarence L. and Mary Miley.
She was head nurse at the V.A. at Parkland for many years. She was a member of
Northside Baptist Church.


Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Ann Bryant of Bend, Ore.;
grandchildren, Kathy Vance and Tanya Naylor, both of Bend, Ore., and Karen
Davenport and Kim Griffith, both of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Devyn
Nichols, Lindsey Davenport, Cody Davenport, Zane Naylor, Cole Naylor and
Satori Griffith; brother, Charles Robert Miley and wife Gerry of Longview;
sisters, Mary Juanita Conn and Dorothy R. Russell, both of Corsicana, Hilda M.
Hardin of Red Oak and Bobby Greer of Corsicana; and dearest friend, Becky
Starnes of Jefferson.
