Powers, in Corsicana, April 29, 1858, and departed this life after a brief illness of congestion of the brain, at the residence of her mother and step-father, C. M. Winkler, in Corsicana, on the 10th day of February 1861. Her affectionate attachment will never to forgotten by her husband, mother, sisters and other relations. She now sleeps beside her little Emma Lou. (Navarro Express, Feb. 27, 1861)
