OlaFaye Jamison, 86 of Roane,Tx passed away Wednesday, March 10,2004, at the 
home of her daughter in Corsicana, following a struggle with cancer. Services 
will be March 12, 2004 at Corley Funernal Home with Rev. Clayton Smith 
officiation. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetary.
Mrs. Jamison was born October 6, 1917 in Streetman, Tx to Oscar William Knight 
and Dora Lewis Knight. She had 2 younger sisters Lillian and Olene, both 
deceased. Her husband, Allen Jamison, a local farmer, died in 1981. Her great 
grandson, Austin Platt, also preceded her in death in 2000.
Palbearers will be her good friends and neighbors, Wayne Rose, Jim Parker, C W 
McClendon, Dan Kent and grandsons-in-laws Scott Watkins, Gregory Platt and 
Dean Hollingsworth.
OlaFaye is survived by 2 children, a son, Sonny Jamison and wife Karen of 
College Station, daughter, Janice Jamison McCrory and Husband, Charles of 
Corsicana.
She worked in the Navarro County Courthouse for 21 years and retired after her 
husband died to take over his land and cattle interests, which she ran with 
great pride until January, 2004. OlaFaye lead a very active life and was a 
member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and the Southwest Cattle 
Raisers Association and a member of the Powell Baptist Church.
There was always a sparkle in her eye when she spoke of her 6 grandchildren, 
Rickey Jamison and wife Donna of College Station, Joni Jamison Hollowingsworth 
and husband Dean of Magnolia, Janet Jamison Randle of Corsicana, Jeri Jamison 
Watkins and husband Scott of Corsicana, Paul Flanagan and wife Dusty of Roane, 
and Paula Flanagan Platt and husband Gregory of Corsicana. 12 Great grand 
children, Jordan Jamison of College Station, Kristen Jamison of College 
Station, Tara Hollowingsworth of Magnolia, Tifani Hollowingsworth of Magnolia, 
Ashley Randle of Corsicana, Meagan Randle of Corsicana, McKenna Watkins of 
Corsicana, Caleb Watkins of Corsicana, Cheyan Flanagan of Roane, 
Presley Platt of Corsicana, Alec Platt of Corsicana and Logan Platt of 
Corsicana.
