Corsicana Paper
             MRS. SCROGGINS LAST RITES HELD
 CORSICANA - Funeral services for former Powell resident Mrs. Edith Scroggins
of Tyler were held at Griffin Chapel in Corsicana Wednesday. Rev. Gene Mills
officiated. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery at Corsicana.
 Mrs. Scroggins died in Tyler Tuesday. She was 87. Surviving are two sons,
Earl Scroggins of Gladewater and Joe Scroggins of Lynwood, Calif.; six 
daughters, Mrs. Fred Kesinger Sr. of Corsicana; Mrs. C.L. Garrett of Tyler,
Mrs. W.C. Briggs of San Antonio, Mrs. L.A. Pulley of Fort Worth, Mrs. C.W.
Covington of Dallas and Mrs. Billy Scoggins of Tyler; two brothers, William
Key and Hubbard Key, of Corsicana; one sister and 12 grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren
