Webster held on Tuesday Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Kerens Methodist Church for A.P. Webster, a pioneer Navarro County citizen and confererate veteran with Rev. H.C. Bowman conducting the services. He was assisted by Ref. Joe Everheart and Rev. Clem Hardy. Mr. Webster was 87 years of age. He was born in Alabama, but his parents moved to Miss. when he was 2 and later came to Texas. He was married to Sallie Finley in 1873, who died in 1926. He moved to Navarro County in 1893 and has lived here since. He was married in 1927 to Mrs. Minnie Green - who with a brother, B.H. Webster of Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. J.E. Fletcher of Kerens; several grand children and one great-grandchild, are his survivors. Mr. Webster was a member of the Masonic Lodge and had been a member of the Methodist Church for 70 years, having been an official in the Kerens church since he moved to this community. Hehad led an active life and died Monday at 12:25 A.M. after an illness of only a few days. Pallbearers at the funeral were Hunter Ross, W.B. Talley, J.B. Smith, J.N. Inmon, J.B. Reese, and J.C. Harwell.
