Blooming Grove-
Services are to be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bloooming
Grove United Methodist Church for Homer Sanders Whorton,
74, resident of Blooming Grove, who died Monday at
Memorial Hospital. Officiating will be Rev. Roy Davis and
Rev. Leroy Reaves, and burial will be in Rosehill
Cemetery.

He was a retired merchant.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Corinne Whorton of
Blooming Grove; a son, Homer S. Whorton, Jr., of Houston,
his mother, Mrs. Lucy Whorton of Corsicana; and a sister
Mrs. Theresa Leverett of Plainview. Pallbearers are to be
Web Armstrong, J. o. McSpadden, Sidney Moore, Edwin
Moore, Doug McGee and Clyde Crenshaw.
Bradley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
