Corsicana Tx May 13

Officers arrived from Blooming Grove this evening, bringing in John T. Bone, the
alleged murderer of Jim Baker, for incarceration in our county jail to await trial
by the district court in July next.
Bone had to be secretly taken from Blooming Grove to Dresden last night to prevent
being lynched, and it required a strong guard to put him on the train this
afternoon.
