Funeral services were held Monday at 2 P.M. at the Brushie Prairie Methodist church with burial in the Brushie Prairie cemetery. The rites were conducted by Rev. Bill Schibier, Waco Methodist minister. She was a native of Hill County. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hanna Irene Mosely of Waco and Mrs. Willie Williams of Beaumont; two sons, W.T. Scroggins, San Antonio, and Rev. Archie Lee Scroggins, West Lake, La.; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, H.P. Key, Frost and Rev. W.B. Key, Malone; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Scroggins, Tyler, and Mrs. Bertha Burnham, Stamford and a number of nieces and nephews. Wolf funeral home directed. Additional Comments: Alice Mariah was born Nov. 10, 1891 And Died June 30, 1956. She was the daughter of William Austin Key and Hannah Elen Gibson.
