This is a picture of the headstone of my GGgrandfather William Jeffers who 
moved from Pike Couty, IL to Navarro County, Texas in 1845 and died Sept 
1,1846.  He is buried in the family cemetery near Chatfield, TX.  He owned 620 
acres as did his brother Elijah Jeffers.
