F. Allbright the above applicant for Pension who after by me being duly sworn on his Oath says that he was a soldier in the Army of Texas from the 1st day of August AD 1836 to the 1st day of November AD 1836 in Captain John Ingrams Company and Col. Morehouses Regiment. A. F. Allbright Claimant Sworn to and subscribed at Newton this the 30th day of November AD 1870 before me John C. Brooke Notary Public State of Texas Newton County Personally appeared before me the undersigned authority Isaac McMahon and Ira Stephenson creditable citizens of said State to me well known make after being by me duly sworn on their oaths say that they know of their own knowledge that the said A. F. Allbright was a soldier in the army of Texas in the year 1836 that he is about 58 years old and a resident of Newton County in said State and that they believe him to be justly entitled to a pension for services under the Act granting pensions & approved Aug the 14th 1870 Isaac McMahon Ira Stephenson Sworn to and subscribed at Newton this the 30th day of November AD 1870 before me John C. Albright of Newton Co., Texas has been suspended June 19th 1871 as he enlisted August 1 1836 and service was rendered after the Battle San Jacinto. Affidavit of Identity: Ira Stephenson and Joseph McGee of Newton County. dtd: 7/29/1874 ********************************** State of Texas County of Newton Alexander Fleming Allbright of the County & State aforesaid (to me well known) on this the 22nd day of September AD 1874 personally appeared before me the undersigned authority in and for the State and County aforesaid, who being duly sworn, upon his oath says that he is the identical Alexander Allbright (there being no other) who was a private in John Ingrams company in the summer of 1836. That he joined said camp for the term of three months in July 1836 if not sooner discharged and that he was discharged previous to the 15 October 1836 by reason of which he is entitled to a pension under act of State approved 13th August 1870. A. F. Allbright Sworn & subscribed before me this the 22nd day of Sept. AD 1874 Allen Woods, N.P. This is to certify that John Ingrams Company of Texas Volunteers was duly organized by the Election of Officers and mustered into the Service of the Republic of Texas for the Term of three months on the 1st day of July 1836 if not sooner discharged, and took them filed and marched for headquarters on or about the 18th day of said July 1836, and that Alexander Allbright was a member of Sand Company Isaac McMahon State of Texas Newton County Personally appeared before me the undersigned authority the above name Isaac McMahon to me well know who being by me duly sworn on his Oath sayd that he was a member and 2nd Lieut. of John Ingrams company of Texas Volunteers in the year 1836 previous to the 15th October 1836 and the above certificate to just and true, and that he himself and others obtained discharges by furlow from Capt. Ingram and Genl. Thos J. Rusk and permit to return him with arms to serve out their time if called upon and that he himself has not only obtained his bounty land but pension for said services.
