Complaint filed by Martin HINAJOSA charging defendant with being guilty of bearing fire arms unlawfully on or about the 30th day of November A.D. 1876. And now defendant being brought before the court announced himself ready for trial and plead guilty as charged. Whereupon it was ordered by the court that defendant be fined five dollars and all costs in this behalf and that he stand committed to custody of City Marshal until said fine and costs are paid. Page 347 No. 148 - The City of Corpus Christi vs Aiuresto GALINDO In Recorders Court Jany 2nd 1877. Complaint filed by Frank CAMPBELL charging defendant with being guilty of carrying a pistol in violation of city ordinance on the 1st day of January 1877. And now defendant being brought before the court announced himself ready for trial and plead guilty as charged. When it was ordered by the court that he be fined ($10.00) ten dollars and all costs in this behalf and that he stand committed to custody until said fine & costs are paid. No. 149 - The City of Corpus Christi vs Eugene LUCAS In Recorders Court Jany 4th 1877. Complaint filed by B. McMULLEN charging def with assault and battery on the 1st day of Jany 1877. And now def being brought before the court announced himself ready for trial and plead guilty as charged. When it was ordered by the court that he be fined five dollars and all costs in this behalf and that he s(t)and committed to custody of City Marshal until said fine and costs are paid. Page 348 No. 150 - The City of Corpus Christi vs Edward WARD In Recorders Court Jany 4th 1877. Complaint filed by Wm OHLER charging defendant with being guilty of fighting in violation of city ordinance on January 3rd 1877. And now the defendant being brought before the court announced himself ready for trial and plead guilty as charged when it was ordered by the court that he be fined ten dollars and all costs in this behalf and that he stand committed to custody of City Marshal until said fine and costs are paid. No. 151 - City of Corpus Christi vs James FIELDS In Recorders Court Jany 5th 1877. Complaint filed by Chas WICKS charging defendant with being drunk and down. And now this cause being called for trial - Chas WICKS appeared for defendant and plead guilty as charged. When it was ordered by the court that he be fined one dollar and all costs in this behalf and that he stand committed until said fine and costs are paid. No. 152 - The City of Corpus Christi vs Andres LOPEZ In Recorders Court January 11th 1877. Complaint filed by Manuel MIRAMON charging defendant with being guilty of committing an assault on said affiant by the use of abusive and insulting language on January 10th, A.D. 1877. And now defendant being brought before the court announced himself ready for trial and plead not guilty. Whereupon the evidence was heard when it was considered by the court that the cause was frivilous and without foundation in fact. Therefore it was ordered by the court that defendant be discharged to go hence without day, and it was further ordered that the said complainant Manual MIRAMON pay all costs in this behalf and in default thereof that he be committed to the city jail until said costs are paid. Page 349 No. 153 - The City of Corpus Christi vs Miguel GONZALES In Recorders Court January 11th 1877. Complaint filed by Manuel MIRAMON charging defendant with being guilty of committing an assault upon said affiant on January 10th 1877 by the use of abusive and insulting language. And now the defendant being brought before the court announced himself ready for trial and plead not guilty. Whereupon the evidence was heard. When it was considered by the court that the complaint was without foundation in fact. Therefore it was ordered that the said defendant, Miguel GONZALES be discharged to go hence without day. And it was further ordered that said complainant Manual MIRAMON pay all costs in this behalf and that in default thereof that he be committed to the city jail until the same be paid. Page 350 No. 154 - The City of Corpus Christi vs Pedro PEREZ In Recorders Court Jany 11th A.D. 1877. complaint filed by Manuel MIRAMON charging defendant with being guilty of committing an assault upon said affiant by the use of abusive and insulting language on January 10th 1877. And now the defendant being brought before the court announced himself ready for trial and plead not guilty. Whereupon the evidence was heard. When it was considered by the court that the complaint was filed without foundation in fact. Therefore it was ordered that said defendant Pedro PEREZ be discharged to go hence without day, and it was further ordered that the said complainant Manuel MIRAMON pay all costs in this behalf and that in default thereof that he be committed to the city jail until the said costs are paid. No. 155 - City of Corpus Christi vs Sidney PAGE, JR. In Recorders Court Jan 11th 1877. Complaint filed by A.(?) E.C. SUTHERLAND charging defendant of being guilty of writing obsine (sic) and vulgar language on the house and fences of said affiant in violation of city ordinance on January 8th 1877. And now defendant being brought before the court announced himself ready for trial and plead guilty as charged. When it was ordered by the court that he be fined five dollars and all costs in this behalf and that he be committed to custody of city marshal until said fine and costs are paid. Complaint filed by Thomas BASQUES charging defendant with being drunk and down in violation of city ordinance on Jany 29th 1877. And now defendant being brought before the court announced himself ready for trial and plead guilty as charged when it was ordered that he be fined one dollar and all costs in this behalf and that he stand committed to custody of City Marshal until said fine and costs are paid. Page 356 No. 166 - The City of Corpus Christi vs Patrick LAWLER In Recorders Court Jany 30th 1877. Complaint filed by Martin HINAJOSA charging defendant with drunkeness, disorderly conduct, and the unlawful bearing of fire arms in violation of city ordinances on Jany 29th 1877 and now the defendant being brought before the court announced himself ready for trial and plead guilty as charged. When it was ordered that he be fined ten dollars and all costs in this behalf and that the pistol found in his possession be forfeited to the city that he also stand committed to custody of City Marshal until said fine and costs are paid. No. 167 - The City of Corpus Christi vs Elias T. MUSSETT In Recorders Court January 30th 1877. Complaint filed by Martin HINAJOSA charging defendant with disorderly conduct and the unlawful bearing of firearms on Jany 29. And now the def. being brought before the court announced himself ready for trial and plead not guilty. Whereupon the evidence was heard when he was discharged upon that portion of the complaint charging him with unlawfully bearing firearms, but was adjudged guilty by the court of disorderly conduct, and it was ordered that he be fined five dollars and all costs in this behalf and that he stand committed to custody of City Marshal until said fine and costs are paid.
