MACHINE GUNNERS ROUTED FROM BANK

Two Employes Battle Bandits and Foil Robbery

Bishop, Texas, April 5 - Two machine gun bandits were routed in a gun
battle at the First State bank here today by Cashier William A. Harlan
and his assistant, Leon Hagan.  No one was injured.  The bandits held
the trigger down on their machine gun while the two bankers emptied
their two automatics.
