Douglas Carroll Dixon, born in Robstown Texas in November 1923 the son of 
Benjamin and Olive Dixon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 22 2008. 
A loving husband, father and friend, his legacy continues through his wife 
Sarah C. Cortez Dixon; his seven children and their spouses: Gary Dixon, 
Rachel Paulin, Elaine and Mark Merold, Michael and Marcy Del Castillo, 
Kathleen Wickline, Irene and Martin Rowland, and Carol and Timothy Mooney; 
twelve grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by 
only two of his five siblings: Ione Huey and Dororthy McCarty and, of course, 
all the beloved members of Mesa's LDS Mezona Ward. A visitation will be held 
on Sunday January 27, 2008 from 6-8:00 PM at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald 
in Mesa. Funeral Services will be held on Monday January 28, 2008 at 10:00 AM 
with a visitation one hour prior at the LDS Mezona Ward building, 1054 W. 2nd 
Pl. in Mesa.
