Stella Marin Jimenez, 80, entered into eternal life on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008 
at Valley Regional Medical Center. Born Sept. 2, 1927 in Corpus Christi, Texas 
to Reynaldo and Serafina Garcia Marin. She was a member of St. Luke's Catholic 
Church; Knights of Columbus Woman's Auxilary and American Legion Auxilary.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Raul E. Jimenez, her brother; Eulalio 
Marin, and sister; Eusebia Marin.
She is survived by her son; Raul M. (Micaela) Jimenez, Jr., daughters; Lucy E. 
Guzman and Anne M. (Alfredo) Serrato, grandchildren; Raul F. Jimenez III, 
Roderick F. Jimenez, Crisanne E. (Adam) Alvarez, Ricardo R. Elizarde,Jr. Julie 
Anne Serrato, Rose Marie Serrato, Alfredo Serrato, Jr. and 2 great-
grandchildren, Raul Jimenez IV and Britney Jimenez. She is also survived by her 
sisters; Angelica Garza, Lucy Barron and Gloria Jeffries all of Corpus Christi, 
Texas.
Visitation will be today Monday Feb. 25, 2008 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 
Trevino Funeral Home South Chapel. Visitation will continue at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. 
with a recitation of the holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at St. Luke's 
Catholic Church, 2850 Price Rd., Brownsville, Texas, 78521. Mass of 
Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008 at St. Luke's 
Catholic Church with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Honored to be serving as her pallbearers: Alfredo Serrato, Jr., Alfredo 
Serrato, Ramon Zuniga, Raul Jimenez III, Mehdi Rezvi, and Reynaldo Garza III. 
Honorary pallbearer: Raul Jimenez, Jr.
