Funeral Program
A service In Memory of Mr. Allee Allen was conducted Thursday 04 May 1978 at 
2:00 PM from Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1605 Comanche, Corpus Christi, Texas with 
Rev. Arthur Bland, officiating.  Mr. Allee Allen was born August 31, 1902 in 
Refugio, Texas to Napoleon & Rebecca Allen.  Mr. Allen has been a resident of 
Corpus Christi for 54 years.  He departed this life April 30, 1978 in a local 
hospital.  Survivors are his wife, Veda; 1 daughter, Charles Etta Shaw; 7 
grandchildren; 1 brother, Mr. Clarence Smith of Refugio, TX; 1 sister-in-law, 
Mrs. Clarence Smith of Refugio, TX; 2 nieces, Mrs. Mary L. Wilson of San 
Francisco, California; Mrs. Anna Clara Richardson of Refugio, Texas; 1 nephew, 
Marion Sims of Oakland, California; a host of nieces & nephews, relatives, & a 
host of friends.  Pallbearers were Joe Emanuel, Coolidge Crecy, Paul Ballard, 
George McGee, Morris Rose, & Charles Shandy.  Funeral arrangements were made by 
Jackson Flowers Funeral staff.  Interment is at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
