Funeral Program
A service In Loving Memory of Joe Ann* Austin was conducted Saturday 04 March 
1995 at 10:00 AM from Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home, Morgan & 10th Street, 
Corpus Christi, TX with Rev. A. O. Gary officiating.  Jo Ann* Austin was called 
to be with the Lord Monday 27 February 1995.  She was born 18 November 1947 in 
Timpson, TX.  She was the daughter of the late Joe T. & Berlice Gates.  She 
received her education from Booker T. Washington Elementary School.  She then 
went on to attend & graduate from Solomon M Coles High School.  After 
graduation she attended Del Mar College.  She left with unforgettable memories 
her husband, Elmo M. Austin; 2 children, Ms. Jorell M. Austin; & Ms. Kenitra L. 
Austin; 1 aunt, Winnie (Willis) Williams;  2 cousins, Edwina Williams; Oretha 
Martin all of Corpus Christi; & a host of other relatives & friends.  
Pallbearers were Otis Johnson, Melvin Thomas, Fletcher Robinson, Charles 
Robinson, A. J. Collier, Joe Nash, Roosevelt Porter, & Tokum Winn.  Interment 
is at Rose Hill Cemetery in Corpus Christi.  Arrangements were made by Maxwell 
P. Dunne Funeral Service, Inc.  *Name spelled both ways on funeral program
