Homegoing of Andy Bell, Sr. {February 4, 1907 - February 9, 1994} was conducted 
at 10:00 AM on Saturday February 12th, 1994 from St. Paul United Methodist 
Church, Corpus Christi, Texas, with Pastor Maurice Washington officiating.  
Andy Bell, Sr. was born in Guadalupe County, Texas.  He confessed his faith in 
Christ at a very early age & united with the Methodist Church where he served 
faithfully & graciously all his life.  He has held almost every office in the 
church.  Andy’s joy was his wife & family.  He was a very dedicated & loving 
husband & father until the time God called him home.  His memory & legacy will 
always be a shining example for all his family & friends to follow.  He was 
preceded in death by 2 sons, Minor Bell & Don Bell.  He is survived by his wife 
of 65 years, Ethel Adams Bell; 2 daughters, Ella (Curtis) Clerkley; & Annie 
(Bill) Hatfield of Corpus Christi; 6 sons, Andy (Lorena) Bell, Jr.; Otis 
(Betty) Bell; Jack (Jo) Bell; Gerald (Vanessa) Bell, all of Corpus Christi; 
Rev. Troy (Glenda) Bell of Seguin; & John I. Bell of Mobile, Alabama; his 
brother, Otis Bell of Edinburg; 20 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; & a 
host of relatives & friends.
