SR. (Plot 4; Evergreen Cemetery) Born: 1840. Deceased: 1919. Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America on the 15th day of May 1861 and served “Honorably” as a “Private” in Company “G” 21st Regiment “Texas Cavalry” C.S.A. He was at his time of enlistment a resident of Orange Texas. He was “Honorably” discharged from said Confederate service on the 26th day of May 1865 by Captain C. H. Hannah Colonel Giddings. At which time he held the rank of “Private”. (Obtained from “Southern Cross of Honor” application…his writing.) (note: Company “G” was formed in Orange County Texas.) TAYLOR (UNKNOWN) Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America and served “Honorably” in Company “B” “Artillery” 11th “Spaight’s Battalion” “Texas Volunteers” C.S.A. (note: Company “B” spent most of the War stationed at Sabine Pass Texas. Company “B” was formed in Jefferson County (Sabine Pass) Texas.) TAYLOR J. G. L. Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America and served “Honorably” in Company “D” 11th “Spaight’s Battalion” “Texas Volunteers” “ Infantry” C.S.A. (note: Company “D” was formed in Tyler County Texas.) TAYLOR WALTER B. Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America and served “Honorably” in Company “A” 11th “Spaight’s Battalion” “Texas Volunteers” “Cavalry” C.S.A. (note: Company “A” was formed in Jefferson County (Sabine Pass) Texas.) MYERS FRANK C. Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America and served “Honorably”. Received a Confederate pension from the State of Texas. Pension # 43801. MYERS ROBERT CHARLES “CORPORAL” Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America and served “Honorably” in Company “B” 11th “Spaight’s Battalion” “Texas Volunteers” C.S.A. “Honorably” discharged from said Confederate Service on 28th day of May 1865.
