Freeway, Vidor died February 9,1973 at 8 a.m. in Baptist Hospital of Beaumont after a short illness. Cady was a native of Beumont , Texas and had lived in Vidor for the past 25 years where he was a real estae broker and an insurance agent. Cady was a member of the Presbyterian church. He was a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Vidor Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Board of Directors and Life Time member of the Vidor Optimist Club. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 11, 1973 at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Snellgrove Presbyterian minister from Nacogdoches officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Vidor. Pallbearers will be B.E. Wharton, J. P. Greer, Curtis Smith, Pete Moffat, Merle Luker, and W. H. Knowles. Survivors include his wife Ruby Cady; and three brothers, Herbert Cady,Dallas, Chester Cady, Vidor, and Kimble Cady, Vidor.
