On Saturday the Farmers Alliance and Knights of Labor of this county met in 
convention, and after a lengthy discussion the following gentlemen were 
nominated for county offices: 
For judge, F. M. Taylor; for clerk, Arthur Speer; for treasurer, William Wynn;
for assessor, Teuben Jeter; for sheriff, B. A. Hudgins; for attorney, E. K. 
Taylor; for surveyor, A. W. Carpenter; for cattle and hide inspector, Matt Bell.
