She had resided most of her life in Panola County and was a member of the Methodist Church and was the widow of Lee F. Boynton. Services were held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. J. Bryant Young, pastor of First Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Survivors include one son, Fred L. Boynton, of Alexandria, La.; another son, Paul, was killed in World War II; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Chappelle of Houston; Mrs. N.C. Robinson of Austin and Mrs. J.G. Strong of Carthage; a brother, Wallace Rogers of San Antonio; one sister, Mrs. Roy Lasseter of El Paso; eleven grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
