Baker, wife of Horace Baker, died Tuesay morning at the family home on Water Street. She had been sick only a few days of pneumonia. She was 61 years of age, and had lived in this city some 24 years, the family having removed to Texas from Wisconsin. She leaves three sons, Eugene S., Perry M. and Harley Baker, all of whom reside in Wisconsin, and two daughter, Mrs. R.W. Murphy of this city and Mrs. F.L. Woodward of Mount Pleasant. Mrs. Woodward arrived here Tuesday afternoon to attend the funeral, which occurred at 3 oÕclock Wednesay afternoon, Rev. N.G. Jacks, pastor of the Central Christian church officiating. Mrs. Baker was a highly respected Christian lady and her loss is sincerely mourned by her many friends. The Plain Texan and Weatherford Democrat February 16 1906
