Parker County, Texas - Obituary - J.G. McCall received a telegram from Goldville, South Carolina, Thursday stating that J.G. Plester had died that morning at that place. Mr. Plester was at one time a resident of Weatherford, and still owns property here. He left Weatherford about five years ago for South Carolina, where he resided at the time of his death, which was caused from the effects of a stroke of paralysis. The remains will be buried, it is supposed, at Goldville. Mr. Plester leaves a wife and four children, J.M. and L.M. Plester, both of Parker county, Mrs. D.L. Beeman of Colorado City, Miss Hattie Lee. This was the second stroke of paralysis which Mr. Plester had experienced. He was about 62 years of age.
