He was married in 1908 to Lucy Puckett of Idaho. She passed away in 1918. Conley moved to this community from Idaho in 1920. January 13, 1921 he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Hensley at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. To this union three sons were born, one who died in infancy. Mary Jane preceded him in death May 15, 1948. He is survived by two sons: R.T. and Gilbert Rhoten both of Phillips, Texas; one sister Mrs. Nannie Little, Oklahoma City; two brothers, Clay Rhoten, Weatherford, Texas; Benny Rhoten, Denver, Colorado, three half brothers, W.J. and Lee Rhoten, Ft. Worth, Texas, John Rhoten, Springtown, Texas; two half-sisterds Mrs. Linda Freeman, Springtown, Texas; and Mrs. Lee Rhoten, Fort Worth, Texas; two grandsons, one step-granddaughter and other relatives and a host of friends.
