I Abraham Pipkin after Co. of Parker } considering of the uncertain time of life and the surtentry of death, bequeath unto my three youngest sons towith E.M. Pipkin, P.M. Pipkin and I.J. Pipkin all of my two tracts of land, towith one hundred and sixty achors it being the head right of Abraham Pipkin patented in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred fifty eight (ne ?) 232 Vol. 17 about four miles S. 80 degrees East from the town of Weatherford and a survey of 320, three hundred acres in the name of C.J. Edleman, Abraham Pipkin assinee of C.J. Edleman (ne ?) 453 preemption Vol. 15 patented in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred fifty seven. Abraham and Nancy Pipkin bequeath to the said E.M., P.M. and I.J. Pipkin their airs and assigns forever the same to be sold and divided equally between them or the land to be divided equally at the of my wife Nancy Pipkin. I bequeath unto my son P.B. Pipkin one black mair branded A.P. on the left shoulder with a colt and two cows and calvs and a tract of land in name David Edleman it being a preemption a head right of 320 acres about 6 miles East of the town of Weatherford his airs and assigns forever. I bequeath out my daughters N. Jane and Eliseum Pipkin to the following described personally property to wit my entire stock of cattel one hundred head more or less branded thus A.P. on the left hype mark __ of the left swallow fork and __ bit in the rite equally divided between them and D.N.J. Pipkin one sorrel mair branded A.P. on left shoulder and to Elisem one bare horse branded P.A.P. and one colt branded A.P. both brands on the left shoulder together with all househole and Kitchen furniture. To be equally divided between them at the death of my wife Nancy Pipkin and to P.M. Pipkin one chestnut sorrel mair and colt branded A.P. on left shoulder to I.J. Pipkin bay mair and colt branded A.P. on left shoulder together with all __ favor, and to Nancy Pipkin my wife two yolks of oxen and one sorrel mair our wagon and possessions of all her life time or maid good account of the dead or marriage all the afore described property to be divided as set forth in this my last will where unto i set my seal and affix a scroll. Abraham Pipkin And I appoint son P.B. Pipkin Administrator and Executor of this my last will and the same to be correct into affect at my death. This March 8th 1863 written N.B. Huffman and witnessed by J.V. Coffman and Will Tulls. The State of Texas } Before me J.V. Price a notary republic in County of Parker } and for Parker County Texas on this day personally came E.M. Pipkin to me well known and who is entitled to full forth and conduct and who after being by me duly sworn did depose and say that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of the will of Abraham Pipkin deceased. That he copied said will from the original and compare the same and to know it is a true copy of the original will as made by said Abraham Pipkin on the day and date stated in said will __ states further that he knows of his own knowledge that said will was duly probated and made a matter of record of Parker County Texas but the same was destroyed in the burning of the courthouse in 1874. Texas The State of Texas } On this day personally came and appeared County of Parker } Spain Fondren to me well known and who is entitled to full faith and credit and who after being by me duly sworn did depose and say that he has seen the original will made by Abraham Pipkin dated March 8th, 1863 frequently and that he has compared the above copy of the same and knows that it is a true and correct copy of said original will affiant states further that said will was duly probated as the law required and made a matter of record but the same was destroyed in the burning of the courthouse of Parker County Texas together with the record there of in witness of all which I here to set my hand on the 13th day of December A.D. 1890.
