Kerr, 78, of Fort Stockton, Pecos County, died Wednesday morning at the home of his nephew, Robert Dennett, 5812 Goliad. He had been living there since he became ill in November. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Geo. A. Brewer Funeral Chapel, 3603 Ross, Dr. Stanley Hayne, retired minister and teacher of the Brotherhood Class of the Munger Place Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Restland. Kerr was born in Pictou County, Nova Scotia and came to the United States about 60 years ago. He was owner of a trailer court in Fort Stockton. Survivors other than his nephew include two sons, George Kerr of San Jose, Calif., and Murray Kerr who resides in Indiana, and a sister, Mrs. Lydia J. Dennett of Dallas.
