George Arthur Sachse, 82, retired Pecos County rancher,
died Wednesday in a Dallas hospital after a 2-week illness.

A native of Arkansas, Sachse entered the ranching business
near Fort Stockton with an uncle when he was twenty-one. He
moved to Dallas after his retirement in 1942 to live with
his daughter, Mrs. Rhoda Kelley, 3209 Rankin.

He was a member of the Highland Park Methodist Church and a Mason.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Cox memorial
Chapel of Highland Park Methodist Church. Hour of the service has
not yet been set.

In addition to Mrs. Kelley, Sachse is survived by another daughter,
Mrs. J. B. Wade, Fort Stockton, and a granddaughter.
