    Under the direction of Ruth Peebles, The Polk County Historical
Commisssion, The Polk County Heritage Society, and volunteers are
currently gathering information on and attempting to identify the people
and their families, who are buried in the Founders' Cemetery, or "Old
City Cemetery", in Livingston, Polk County, Texas.
    With their permission, I have submitted much of the genealogical
information gathered so far on Polk County Connections. If you have 
additional information, wish to make corrections, or would like to
volunteer to help with the work going on at this cemetery, please
