Panner, in this city. Lieut. J. F. Jones , of Company K. 5th Texas regiment, from Pola county, in that State. Although dying among strangers, his distant friends may be assured that all was done for him during his painful illness that medical skill could suggest, or patient attentions execute. He was deterred in Hollywood Cemetery, near the grave of his relative, Eneth Jones, who died under the same roof, on the 9th of August last. The Daily Dispatch: June 11, 1862.
