Services will be Tuesday in First Baptist Church at Union Point, Ga. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Union Point. Arrangements are by Calloway Funeral Home of Union Point. Mr. Vanderbush was born in Amarillo. He lived in Amarillo for most of his life until moving to Georgia a year and a half ago. He attended Humphrey's Highland Elementary School, Bowie Junior High School and Caprock High School. He married Mitzi Renee Hill in 1973 at Amarillo. He attended Amarillo College and was involved in the radio and television program there. He was a disc jockey at several radio stations in Amarillo and one in Borger. He also worked at several television stations. He enjoyed writing and music. Survivors include a daughter, Holly Vanessa Vanderbush-Wall of Amarillo; a son, Neil Spencer Vanderbush of Temecula, Calif.; his mother, Shirley Dingler of Union Point; a sister, Victoria Hardin of Victoria, Texas; and a granddaughter. Frankie Mae Dixon Frankie Mae Dixon, 90, a former Amarillo resident, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996, in Abilene. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by North's Funeral Home of Abilene. Ms. Dixon was raised in Mangum, Okla., and graduated from Mangum High School in 1924. She received a bachelor of education degree and a master of education degree from West Texas State University. She taught elementary school in Amarillo for more than 40 years. She married Kenneth D. Dixon in 1926 at Canyon. He died in 1988. She was a charter member of San Jacinto United Methodist Church in Amarillo. She was a member of the American Associates of University Women. Survivors include a son, Dr. William N. Dixon of Abilene; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Elmer L. McGahan Elmer L. McGahan, 85, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1996. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street, with the Rev. Lynn Garrett of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. McGahan worked in sales for Roberts Paper Co. before retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 731 and recently received his 50-year award. He also was a member of the Amarillo Gun Club and the Khiva Shrine Temple and a longtime member of the Khiva Drum Corps. He married Louise McAnally in 1936 at Abilene. Survivors include his wife; a son, Thomas H. McGahan of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Arletta McPherson of Shreveport, La.; and two grandchildren. Jessie Lou Brown Jessie Lou Brown, 82, formerly of Amarillo, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996, in Broken Arrow, Okla. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home East Mausoleum, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Robert Bennett of Freedom Baptist Church officiating. Mr. Brown was born in Fayetteville, Ga. Survivors include a daughter, Claudia Cheek of Broken Arrow; a brother, Bill Brown of Groom; a sister, Tula Giles of Amarillo; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Oklahoma Wilma Ruth Sherrill BEAVER, Okla. - Wilma Ruth Shinnault Sherrill, 75, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Beaver United Methodist Church with Charles Watson officiating. Burial will be in Forgan Cemetery at Forgan by Clark Funeral Service. Mrs. Sherrill was born in Forgan. She graduated from Forgan High School in 1939. After a short stay in Texas, she returned to Forgan and began working in the county clerk's office in Beaver. She married Eugene Sherrill in 1949. They owned and operated a Western Auto Store in Meade, Kan., for 15 years before retiring. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Debra Kirk of Scott City, Kan.; a sister, Jean Long of Beaver; and two grandsons. Canyon Robert Hindman Robert ``Bob'' Hindman, 90, of Canyon, died Friday, Dec. 20, 1996. No services are planned. Cremation is by Memory Gardens Crematory. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors. Mr. Hindman was born in Indian Territory. He worked on the Lohman Ranch at Purcell, Okla., before moving to Weatherford in the 1930s. He married Willie Juanita Lewis at Weatherford. They raised and trained quarter horses in addition to doing ranch work. He moved to southwestern Pennsylvania in 1951 and raised registered quarter horses and continued to be involved with agriculture and ranching. He moved to Canyon in 1986. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1982. Survivors include a son, Robert Hindman of Dallas; and a daughter, Nita Hindman of Canyon. Elsewhere Lois Seagler IDALOU - Lois Belle Germany Seagler, 86, of Snyder, formerly of Idalou, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1996. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in White Funeral Home Memorial Chapel at Lubbock with Dr. Darold Baldwin, director of missions for Mitchell, Scurry and Sweetwater Baptist Area, officiating. Burial will be in the city of Lubbock Cemetery. Mrs. Seagler moved to Lubbock County in 1924 from White City. She graduated from school in Acuff. She moved to Snyder in 1991. She was a a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Snyder. She married Graham Seagler in 1933 at Acuff. He died in 1988. Survivors include a son, Stanley B. Seagler of Gruver; a daughter, Anita Baldwin of Snyder; a brother, George Germany of Idalou; three sisters, Zelma Rush of Acuff, Merel Kerr of Lubbock and Rachael Abel of Sacramento, Calif.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The family requests memorials be to First Baptist Church of Gruver or First Baptist Church of Snyder. The body will be available for viewing at White Funeral Home in Idalou. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today. Area Al Milanesi DALHART - Al Milanesi, 72, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Kingdom Hall with Robert Rooney officiating. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Home. Mr. Milanesi was born in New York City and raised in Torrington, Conn. He moved to Dalhart in 1960. He married Sandy Danchuk in 1961 at Dalhart. He was an elder with the Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include his wife; a son, David Milanesi of Howes Cave, N.Y.; a daughter, Rachel James of Dalhart; a sister, Molly Pollack of Torrington; and two grandchildren. O.L. Wood CANADIAN - O.L. ``Woody'' Wood, 67, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. David Marak, pastor of Believers Covenant Fellowship Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors. Mr. Wood was born in Cement, Okla. He married Dean Robb in 1946 at Anadarko, Okla. They moved to Wheeler from Canadian in 1964 and returned to Canadian in 1974. He was employed by Mobil Oil Co. for eight years and Phillips Petroleum for nine years. He and his wife owned and operated the Qwik Stop in Canadian for 13 years. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sue Ford of Mustang, Okla., and Robin Frey of Shreveport, La.; two sons, Buddy Wood of Shamrock and Keith Wood of Canadian; two sisters, Juanita Walker and Zella Harris, both of Chickasha, Okla.; and six grandchildren. Minnie Marie Bergner Bullard TEXHOMA - Minnie Marie Bergner Bullard, 81, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dyton Owen officiating. Burial will be in Texhoma Cemetery by Dawson-Welch Funeral Home. Mrs. Bullard was born in Isabel, Kan. She married Vernon E. Bullard in 1941 at Sweetwater. She taught for 35 years and retired in 1979 after teaching in the Texhoma public school system for 30 years. She was a member of the Texhoma Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Carnation Garden Club. She also was a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sue Ann Meek of Hugoton, Kan., and Jan Lea Flanagan of Texhoma, Okla.; and three grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the Texhoma Educational Fund or the Texhoma Cemetery Fund. Lucille Hulsey Eddleman SILVERTON - Lucille Hulsey Eddleman, 79, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery at Quitaque by Myers-Long Funeral Directors. Mrs. Eddleman was born in Paris, Texas. She married Harley Clark Eddleman in 1936. He died in 1972. She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Ladora Lucille Eddleman Rowell and Patsy Ann Eddleman Stockton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Quitaque. Survivors include two sons, Gary Mark Eddleman and Charles Eddleman, both of Silverton; a brother, Jack Hulsey of Washburn; a sister, Hazel Brooks of Hereford; seven granddaughters; and 14 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kerr was born in Trent. She moved to Deaf Smith County in 1927 from Dumas. She married Will S. Kerr in 1926 at Denton. He died in 1960. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three sons, Clifford Kerr, Norman Kerr and Joe Kerr, all of Hereford; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to First Presbyterian Church of Hereford or the Amarillo Children's Home. W.G. Mayo PAMPA - W.G. Mayo, 81, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Mayo was born in Des Moines, N.M. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1948, moving from Paducah. He married Virginia Miller in 1940 at Paducah. He owned and operated W.G. Mayo Water Well Service for 35 years before retiring in 1995. He was a Methodist and a member of the Odd Fellows. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Ann Miller, in 1962. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Debra June Chilcoat of Dallas and Rebecca Lynn Price of Jenks, Okla.; a son, Bennie Alton Mayo of Paducah; a brother, S.E. Mayo Sr. of Panhandle; and four grandchildren. Nova Joyce McGee TULIA - Nova Joyce Cecil McGee, 92, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1996. Services will be at 4 p.m. today in Wallace Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Auten, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. McGee was born in Indian Territory. She grew up and attended school at Hollis, Okla. She married Framon J. McGee in 1922 at Hollis. He died in 1991. She also was preceded in death by a son, Harvey McGee, in 1994. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Franova Burton and Carolyn Gifford, both of Tulia, Cloy Jackson of Wichita Falls and Aurelia Denny of Wichita, Kan.; two sons, John C. McGee of Odessa and Theodore J. McGee of Fritch; 21 grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Otis Leo Wynn FOLLETT - Otis Leo ``Doc'' Wynn, 86, a former Follett resident, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Melvin Rittenhouse and the Rev. M.D. Methvin officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery at Follett by Seeger Funeral Home of Laverne, Okla. Mr. Wynn was born in Blanchard, Okla. His family moved to Lipscomb County in 1922. He farmed and ranched near Follett. He was a World War II veteran. He was inducted into the Army in 1942 and was assigned to the 37th General Hospital. He went to North Africa and served there until 1944, when he was sent to Italy. He was discharged in 1945 and returned to Follett. He married Ellin Broyles in 1953. They lived in Sedan, Kan., and returned to Follett in 1962. They moved to Selman, Okla., in 1981. Survivors include his wife; a son, Mac Wynn of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Vernon Wynn of Elk City, Okla., Dee Wynn of Choctaw, Okla, and Coy Wynn of McLoud, Okla.; and a sister, Faye Fleming of Tulsa, Okla. Willard McCreless PLAINVIEW - Willard McCreless, 70, of Matador, a former Plainview resident, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Wood-Dunning Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Rickey Lawrence, pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Roaring Springs, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park. Mr. McCreless was born in DeKalb County, Ala. He moved from Alabama to Plainview in 1961 and to Matador in 1983. He married Mary Jo Dawson in 1950 at Rising Fawn, Ga. He was a truck driver for Plains Welding Supply before retiring in 1981. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Denise Munson, Renee Agnew and Lisa Beer, all of Amarillo; a son, Bruce McCreless of Canyon; three sisters, Goldie Bearden and Gladys Pope, both of Crossville, Ala., and Edna Stone of Plainview; a brother, Burlin McCreless of Crossville;; and six grandchildren. Maydell Spruell CANADIAN - Maydell Spruell, 71, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1996. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Abundant Life Assembly of God with the Rev. Jimmy A. Robinson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors. Mrs. Spruell was born in Alma, Ark. She married William Wilford Spruell in 1941 at Miami, Texas. He died in 1988. She was a homemaker and a longtime Hemphill County resident. She was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church. Survivors include a daughter, Frances Arnold of Kerrville; two sons, William Floyd Spruell and Bobby Dean Spruell Sr., both of Canadian; two brothers, Harold Chaffin and Buddy Chaffin, both of Canadian; three sisters, Lucille Oliver of Canadian, Mildred Thrasher of Pampa and Frankie Sue Widner of Tyler; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
