Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. in St. Joseph's Cemetery at Munday. Mrs. Orsak was born in Wallis. She moved to Hereford from Goree in 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Orsak, in 1990. Survivors include a daughter, Jean Schumacher of Hereford; and two grandchildren. Refugio G. Hernandez PAMPA - Refugio G. "Cuco" Hernandez, 65, died Tuesday, April 1, 1997. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Hernandez was born in Pampa and had been a lifelong resident of Pampa. He married Earlene Reames in 1982 at Lawton, Okla. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was co-owner of the Pampa Athletic Club and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Timothy Dale Fletcher, in 1994. Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Clifton Wayne Fletcher of Wheeler; six brothers, Tony Hernandez, Frank Hernandez, Joe Hernandez, Lupe Hernandez and Raymond Hernandez, all of Pampa, and Joaquin Hernandez of Seattle; six sisters, Mary Ann Felix and Mary Ellen Rodriguez, both of Pampa, Angela Esquivel of Belen, N.M., Lucy Cobb of Spring, Becky Erickson of Moore, Okla., and Elizabeth Hernandez of Colton, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Luella Aycock TULIA - Luella Kathryn Woodward Aycock, 93, died Tuesday, April 1, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jesse Hodge, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home. Mrs. Aycock was born in Hamilton County and moved with her family to Lorenzo in 1916. She attended West Texas State Teachers College at Canyon. She taught school at Estacado and Tatum, N.M. She married H. Rex Aycock in 1932 at Portales, N.M. They lived in Tulia, where she was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Sorosis Study Club and the Women's Society of Christian Service of First Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Robert Rex Aycock of Lubbock and Charles F. Aycock of Farwell; a sister, Charline Eubank of Idalou; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity. Roach Perry LOCKNEY - Roach Perry, 70, died Monday, March 31, 1997. Mr. Perry was born in Walters, Okla. He grew up in Brownfield and graduated from Brownfield High School in 1942. He served in the Navy from 1942 to 1945. He moved to the Aiken community in 1945 and was engaged in farming. He retired in 1984. He was a member of the Lockney Masonic Lodge and First Christian Church of Brownfield. He married Versie Barclay Roberson in 1959 at Lockney. Mr. Perry was preceded in death by a son, David Roberson. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Gay L. Bradley of Corsicana; a son, Joe D. Roberson of Lockney; a brother, Max Perry of Midland; a sister, Monah King of Abilene; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Arbsland was born in Medicine Lodge, Kan. She had lived in the Spearman area for 40 years, moving from Pratt, Kan. Amarillo Willie Mae Sissom Shannon Willie Mae Sissom Shannon, 85, a former Amarillo resident, died Sunday, March 30, 1997, in Lakewood, Colo. She moved to Amarillo in 1925 from Portales, N.M. She moved to Plainview in 1973 and to Lakewood in 1995. She was a homemaker and a nurse's aide. She attended Colonial Baptist Church in Plainview. She married James Carroll Shannon in 1928 at Canyon. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Marvin Shannon of Garland; two daughters, Llawanna Collie of Plainview and Dixie Powell of Denver; a brother, John E. John Timcisko Jr. John "Tim" Timcisko Jr., 75, of Amarillo, died Monday, March 31, 1997. Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. today in N.S. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Timcisko was born in Valkov, Czechoslovakia, and moved to the United States in 1931. He was active in the Golden Gloves Boxing Association during his youth. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He married Jeanne Anderson in 1942 at West Virginia. They moved to Amarillo from Dumas in 1952. He retired from Pantex in 1986 after 34 years of service. He was active with the Amarillo Gold Sox Association for more than 20 years. He also was a longtime member of the Y's Men's Club. He was a founding member of St. Laurence Cathedral Catholic Church and a past president of the Legion of Mary at St. Laurence Cathedral. Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Timcisko of Amarillo; four daughters, Carol Wadley, Cathy Stegall and Regina Wright, all of Amarillo, and Barbara Vandemark of Plano; a brother, Joe Olack of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Mary Davis and Dorothy Peterson, both of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren. Nancy Farwell Scruggs Nancy Farwell Scruggs, 66, of 2334 Hawthorne Drive, died Monday, March 31, 1997. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Llano Cemetery. She was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church, where she was an executive secretary to the pastor. She also was a member of and teacher for the Susanna Wesley Sunday School class and the Marys and Marthas Sunday School class. She was honored by receiving the Bishop Eugene Slater Award in 1995. She worked for Southwestern Public Service Co. from 1953 to 1958. She was active with Meals on Wheels in the mid1970s. She was a den mother for the Cub Scouts and had been a member of the PEO Chapter Z and Chapter AI since 1954. She also was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Scruggs received her degree in business administration at West Texas State University. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Scruggs Sr., in 1994. Survivors include a daughter, Shannon Scruggs Park of Tujunga, Calif.; three sons, Charles Alan Scruggs Jr., Robert Farwell Scruggs and Mark Lyle Scruggs, all of Amarillo; a brother, Fenton Farwell of Amarillo; and two grandchildren. New Mexico James Sidney Morrow FOLSOM, N.M. - James Sidney "Sid" Morrow, 46, died Tuesday, March 25, 1997. Graveside services were Friday, March 28, on the Morrow Ranch with the Rev. Larry Mitchell officiating. Arrangements were by Alderete-Pomeroy Funeral Home of Raton. Mr. Morrow was born in Raton and had lived in Folsom and the surrounding area most of his life. He was a rancher. He was a member of the Rodeo Cowboys Association and participated in the Intercollegiate Bronc Riding Championship in 1976. He later participated in the North American Amateur Bronc Riding Championship. Survivors include three daughters, Erin Morrow, Maggie Morrow and Rori Morrow, all of Folsom; his parents, John L. Arrangements are by SteedTodd Funeral Home of Clovis. Mr. Porter was born in Bokchito, Okla., and had lived in Melrose since 1946. He served as mayor of Melrose during the 1950s. He was a member of Melrose Lodge No. 39 AF&AM and the Lions Club. He married Faye Cox in 1934 at Marlow, Okla. Survivors include his wife; a son, Tommy Porter of Albuquerque; two daughters, Fana Lou of Roswell and Sondra Sullivan of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Geneva McComas of Whittier, Calif., and Pauline Inman of Tulia, Texas; a brother, Edmon Porter of Ocean Side, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren. The casket will be open at the funeral home and prior to the service. It will be closed after the service. Norma Jean Reeser CLAYTON, N.M. - Norma Jean Reeser, 66, died Tuesday, April 1, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terrell Jones, pastor of Clayton Trinity Fellowship Church, and the Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors. Mrs. Reeser was born in Mexhoma, Okla. She grew up in Boise City and Clayton. She married J.W. Reeser in 1953 at Clayton. She and her husband had farmed and ranched in the Thomas area of Union County since 1953. She was a member of the Santa Fe Trail Art Association, the Clayton Arts Council and the Union County Extension Club. In 1991 she was the Twentieth Century Club Artist of the Year. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Longwill, in 1988. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Dorothy Gilbreath of Clayton; two sons, Joe Reeser of Clayton and Mack Reeser of Chicago; a sister, Elizabeth Pitman of Wister, Okla.; a brother, Phil Hubbuch of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Jim Kincheloe CLAYTON, N.M. - Jim Kincheloe, 85, died Monday, March 31, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elkhart Cemetery at Elkhart, Okla., by Hass Funeral Directors. Mr. Kincheloe was born in Bucklin, Mo. He married Muriel Lorraine Compton in 1934 at Richfield, Kan. He homesteaded to Torrence County in 1933 and moved to Boise City, Okla., in 1941. He farmed and ranched in the Sedan area of Union County from 1948 to 1964, when they moved to Clayton. While living in Clayton, he continued his farming interests in the Boise City area and Colorado until 1985. In 1955 he was named Farmer of the Year by the ASCS. He was active with the Farm Bureau and was the first president of the Sedan Farm Bureau. He also was a member of the National Rifle Association. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Muriel Morine Viola Kincheloe, in 1939. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Zoe Kenemore of Dumas, Texas, and Jimmie Lorraine Brown of Phoenix; two sisters, Ada Hunt of West Plains, Mo., and Eathel LIndell of Kimboltlon, Ohio; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three greatgreat-grandsons. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mr. Hefner was born in Fort Worth and was a longtime Forth Worth resident. He was a 1986 graduate of R.L. Paschal High School. He attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of North Texas at Denton. Survivors include his father, James R. Hefner, M.D.; his mother, Lucile S. Hefner; his stepmother, Ann Hefner; a daughter, Hillary Jane Hefner; former wife, Debra Hefner; a sister, Dawn Cleveland; a brother, Todd Hefner; a stepbrother, Greg Hyer; and a stepsister, Leigh Hyer.
