Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Boulware graduated from Arlington High School in 1927. She received her bachelor's degree from Texas Woman's University in 1936. She was a teacher and taught in the Arlington, Wichita Falls, and Amarillo public school systems. She married R.C. Boulware in 1981. He died in 1984. Survivors include a son, Bob Pilkinton of Corpus Christi; a nephew, Wayne Nobles of Norman, Okla.; and a grandchild. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She married Leonard Francis in 1927 at Amarillo. He died in 1996. Allton, 83, of Amarillo, died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Garden of Sanctuary at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Ronald E. Mrs. Allton was born in Post Oak, Okla., and moved to Amarillo from Borger in 1947. She retired from Diamond Shamrock where she had been a secretary. Mr. Branstutter was born in Knox City, Ky., and had lived in Amarillo since 1962. He graduated from Union College in Barbourville, Ky. He retired from Pantex after 33 years as an electronics technician. He was a Navy veteran serving in World War II and the Korean War. He married Aileene Wood in 1967 at Jellico, Tenn. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Spence Wood of Golden, Colo., Ronnie Wood of San Angelo and Jack Thomas of Claude; two daughters, Quilla Donlinger and Sheila Campsy, both of Amarillo; two brothers, Lewis Branstutter and Jerry Branstutter, both of Barbourville; five sisters, Jessie Steed of Ypsilanti, Mich., Christine Smith of Barbourville, Carrie Taylor of Farmers Branch, Margaret Poole of Dallas, and Janice Wiseman of Louisville, Ky.; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Deloris Almeda Moreno Deloris Almeda Moreno, 60, of Amarillo, died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Moreno was born in Childress. She worked as licensed vocational nurse and was a member of Day Spring Ministries. Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Frausto and Laereda Sandoval, both of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The body will not be available for viewing. Casey Hoyt Barton Casey Hoyt Barton, 19, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in River Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Carter, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road. Mr. Barton was a lifelong Amarillo resident. He worked for Sharp's Motorsport for two years and was employed at J. Lee Milligan Incorporated at the time of his death. He raced motorcycles and was a member of Post Enduro Association. Miller, 87, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Bivins Memorial Nursing Home with the Rev. Darby Lavender, a retired Baptist minister, officiating. Cremation arrangements are by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Miller was born in Macon, Ga., and moved to Amarillo in the 1920's. She moved to Albuquerque, N.M., in 1938. She married Roy L. Miller in 1938 at Clovis, N.M. He died in 1963. She began working as an operator for Bell Telephone when she was 16 years old. She had been an accountant in her family accounting business from 1945 until 1963. She also had worked in other CPA firms until retiring in 1977. She was a Presbyterian church member. Survivors include two daughters, Paula Wakefield of Tucson and Barbara Drake of Long Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Area Meredith Kendrick GROOM - Meredith Kendrick, 82, died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. R. Bryan Richardson, former pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Groom Cemetery. Arrangements are by BlackburnShaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street, Amarillo. Mr. Kendrick was born in Moody. He graduated as valedictorian from Groom High School. He graduated from West Texas State Teachers College in 1939. He was a carpenter and also farmed and ranched in Groom for more than 56 years. Mr. Kendrick was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church and a member of the men's Sunday School class at the church. He also was a member and a past master of the Masonic Lodge and the Community Center. He helped renovate Groom's hospital into the Community Center. He married Marion Clark in 1940 at Amarillo. She died in April. Survivors include a daughter, Janis Ann DeLoach of Lubbock; two sons, William D. Kendrick of Duncan, Okla., and Robert Arlin Kendrick of Montgomery; four brothers, Curtis H. Kendrick of Stratford, Larry Kendrick of Monrovia, Calif., Donald Kendrick of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Ralph Kendrick of Fountain Valley, Calif.; two sisters, Janice Kenney of Portales, N.M., and Marcella Creagh of China, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Archer PERRYTON - Dan E. Archer, 81, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Church of Christ. Burial will be in Ochiltree County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Perryton. Mr. Archer was born in Hutchinson County. He graduated from Spearman High School in 1932 and received his bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in 1936. He attended law school at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated from Cumberland Law School in Lebanon, Tenn., in 1939. He completed his post graduate work at University of Texas. He returned to Perryton and practiced law in the Texas Panhandle from 1930 until retiring in 1970. Mr. Archer began his practice with the law firm of Boyer and Archer and later with Archer and Brownlee. Early in his career, he was the Ochiltree county attorney. He was the attorney for North Plains Electric Cooperative from 1944 until retiring again in 1996. He was a charter member for Perryton Rotary Club. He was an oil man, a farmer and a rancher until his death. He was a Church of Christ member. He married Opal Thomas in 1937. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Danna K. Archer of Houston; a son, Scott T. Archer of Perryton; a brother, Carl M. Archer of Spearman; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Ruby Lee McMillan MEMPHIS - Ruby Lee McMillan, 69, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Harvey Melton, pastor of Assembly of God Church in Estelline, and Rev. Loyd Riddlespurger of Hedley, officiating. Arrangements are by Spicer Funeral Home. Mrs. McMillian was born in Estelline. She married Eugene E. McMillian in 1946 at Amarillo. She moved from Hereford to Memphis in 1992. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by two sons, Alvin McMillian in 1982 and Garland McMillian in 1995. Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Mary Cook of Clarendon, Veta Sturges of Amarillo, Patricia Brumbalow of Hereford, MaDonna Brandes of Hedley and Kathy Wilkes of Memphis; two sons, Timothy McMillian of Hedley and David McMillian of Merritt, British Columbia, Canada; 12 grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the American Heart Association or a favorite charity. Herman Richard Morgan CLAUDE - Herman Richard Morgan, 83, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Davenport, pastor of First Baptist Church in Tulia and the Rev. Dennis Noblett, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Canyon, officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery at Perryton by Robertson Funeral Directors. Mr. Morgan was born in Des Moines, N.M. He received his master plumber certification and worked as a plumber and electrician from 1942 until he retired in 1975. He also farmed and ranched from 1949 to 1975. He lived in Armstrong County from 1949 until moving to Canyon in 1992. He moved to Claude in September. He had been a member of the Claude First Baptist Church from 1949 until 1992 when he became a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Canyon. He married Alice Bryan in 1938 at Perryton. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Betty Triplett of Canyon; a son Marvin B. Morgan of Austin; two sisters, Mabel Louise McLarty of Perryton and Betty Sue Worley of Roswell, N.M.; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Mamie Paty HIGGINS - Mamie Paty, 90, died Sunday Nov. 2, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Higgins United Methodist Church with the Rev. Monte Kreis and the Rev. Ryan Burns officiating. Burial will be in Higgins Cemetery. Arrangements are by Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Shattuck, Okla. Mrs. Paty was born in Willow, Okla. She married Melvin Paty in 1925. They lived in Willow, Spearman, Arkansas, and the Bishop community in Oklahoma. They moved to Higgins in 1946. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Busy Bee Quilting Club. Mrs. Paty was preceded in death by her husband in 1971 and also by an infant daughter. Survivors include three daughters, Doris Landers and Joy Ridgway, both of Higgins, Nell Bloxsom of Eufaula, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Bobo Castleberry WELLINGTON - Bobo Castleberry, 76, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Tims, pastor of First Baptist Church of Chickasha, Okla., officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Mr. Castleberry graduated from Wellington High School in 1937 and the University of Texas at Austin in 1941. He served in the Army Medical Corps during World War II, seeing battle at the Battle of the Bulge. He worked for Castleberry Motor Co. until 1960 and had been a life insurance agent for Great Southern Life. In 1968, he co-purchased White Insurance Agency, changing the name to First Wellington Agency. Several years later he added First Wellington Real Estate. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and First Baptist Church. He served on the city council and was a former member of the Kiwanis Club. Mr. Castleberry married Billye Tennison in 1950 at Wellington. She died in 1991. Survivors include three daughters, Betsy Lemons of Wellington, Suzy Salls of Rockwell and Kim Reeves of Amarillo; and three grandchildren.
