Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Central Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Bob Brown officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Holley Funeral Home Inc. of Canyon. Mr. Palmer was born in Ada, Okla. He had been a mechanic and shop foreman at Pantex. He was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene. He married Willie Frances Ramer in 1927 at Ada. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sandy Cappelli of Wichita Falls and Kim Young of Dallas; a brother, Ed Palmer of Phoenix; a sister, Garnett Stodghill of Plainview; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Ruby Bickley Ruby Bickley, 91, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Bob Schroeder of Paramount Terrace Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Bickley was born in Post Oak and moved to Amarillo 38 years ago. She had worked in the delicatessen at Furrs Grocery Store for many years and retired from Elizabeth Jane Bivins Nursing Home. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and San Jacinto Baptist Church. She married Bill Bickley in 1970 in Amarillo. He died in 1986. She also was preceded in death by a son, Roy Richardson, in 1990. Survivors include two sons, Howard Richardson of Amarillo and Otho Richardson of Bushland; two daughters, Anne Richards of Memphis and Frances Riggs of Troup; three brothers, Roy Martin and Paul Martin, both of Amarillo, and B.M. Martin of Minnesota; three sisters, Maye Murphy of Amarillo, Ola Chadwick of Midland and Marge Goodsen of California; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Michael Glen Wilburn Michael Glen Wilburn, 39, a former Amarillo resident, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997, at Taos, N.M. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Rector Funeral Home Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with Cody Moulton officiating. Mr. Wilburn was born in Amarillo. He retired from Burlington Northern Railroad in 1994. He moved to Red River in 1994, where he owned and operated Southwestern Visions. He married Arlynne Reinhardt in 1992 at Green Mountain Falls, Colo. Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Steven Wilburn of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Brittany Prince of Amarillo; a brother, B.A. Wilburn of Amarillo; his father, Ralph Wilburn of Austin; his grandmother, Viola Yale of Amarillo; and one granddaughter. Doris Catherine Willson Doris Catherine Willson, 81, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Bible Baptist Temple with the Rev. Mrs. Willson was born in LeBeth, Kan., and grew up in Oklahoma. She married Vollie Willson in 1945 at Oklahoma City. They moved to Amarillo in 1945. Her husband preceded her in death. Mrs. Willson worked for Dave's Drugstore in the San Jacinto area for 15 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Temple. Survivors include a daughter, Lynda Wheat of Canyon; a sister, Elizabeth Clingan of Wolfe City; two special friends, Pat and Lindy Mason of Amarillo; and two grandchildren. Georgia St. Mrs. Brosier was born in Young County. She attended the University of Texas and West Texas State Teachers College. She taught in several schools in northeastern New Mexico and the Texas Panhandle. She married Howard Brosier in 1925 at Amarillo. Mrs. Brosier was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Dan S. Brosier of Athens, Ill., and Glen H. Brosier of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center or a favorite charity. Frank M. Fiore Frank M. Fiore, 75, of Amarillo, died Friday, Nov. 7, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Schooler Funeral Home Inc., Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with Harold Waldow, chaplain at Baptist St. Anthony's Health System, and Howard F.M. Childers, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Mr. Fiore was born in Chicago. He served four years in the Army Air Corps during World War II in China, Burma and India. He married Wynona Davidson in 1946 at Hollis, Okla. Mr. Fiore moved to Amarillo in 1961, where he worked for Lee Way Motors and retired from Yellow Freight in 1979. He has received many million-mile safety pins over the years. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tony Fiore of Amarillo and Larry Fiore of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Rose Moustis of Anaheim, Calif., and Josephine Alessi of Royal Oak, Mich.; a brother, Salvador Fiore of Chicago; and six grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo, Texas 79101. New Mexico A.D. Apodaca PORTALES, N.M. - A.D. Apodaca, 71, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1997. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Helen Catholic Church by the Rev. Anthony Martinez. Burial was in the Portales Cemetery by Wheeler Mortuary of Portales Inc. Mr. Apodaca was born and raised in Encino. He served in the Army during World War II, fighting in three campaigns in the European Theater. Following the war, he returned to Encino and married Mary Ortega in 1947 at Vaughn. He worked for Santa Fe Railway about three years before attended cabinet-building school at Vaughn. He moved to Clovis, where he worked about two years in the expansion at Cannon Air Force Base. They also lived in Albuquerque before moving to Portales in 1953. He worked as an independent contractor until retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Ledbetter-McReynolds Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3015 at Clovis. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Tony Apodaca of Albuquerque, Henry Apodaca and Pete Apodaca, both of Portales; two daughters, Maryann Garcia and Cindy Cordova, both of Portales; his mother, Antonia Armijo of Portales; two sisters, Mary Sanchez and Victoria Jaramillo, both of Portales; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Frankie Stroud CLOVIS, N.M. - Frankie Stroud, 93, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Mrs. Stroud was born in Tyler, Texas. She had lived in Clovis for 52 years. Survivors include two daughters, Mae Nell Danielson of Florida and Leona Helm of Clovis; a son, John Daugherty of Clovis; a sister, Lou Thompson of Clovis; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Alfred Pacheco TUCUMCARI, N.M. - Alfred "Fred'' Pacheco, 58, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Dunn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. An additional memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Mosquero. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph at Mosquero. Mr. Pacheco was born in Mosquero and was a longtime resident of Tucumcari. He worked for Tucumcari Motor Co. for many years as a paint and body man. He worked for many years for the Tucumcari school district, retiring as a bus driver. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church of Tucumcari and was an Army veteran. Survivors include three sons, Chris Pacheco of Lovington and Patrick Pacheco and Jamie Pacheco, both of Tucumcari; five brothers, Juan Pacheco and Arturo Pacheco, both of Mosquero, Felipe Pacheco of Denver, Frank Pacheco of Oklahoma and Cleo Pacheco of Tucumcari; two sisters, Lala Martinez of Mosquero and Gloria Arguello of Tucumcari; and six grandchildren. The body will be available for viewing from this morning until noon Sunday when the body will be taken to St. Joseph Catholic Church at Mosquero. Elsewhere Marilie Moke BENBROOK - Marilie Moke, 56, a former Amarillo resident, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1997. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today in Guardian Funeral Home and Cremation Society Chapel at Fort Worth. Mrs. Moke lived in Amarillo for 22 years before moving to Benbrook. She had been a banker for 36 years and was vice president of Bank One and Bank Central while living in Amarillo. Survivors include her husband, Douglas; a son, Shawn Moke of Benbrook; a daughter, Sherrie Simms of Amarillo; a sister, Heidi Mitts of Killeen; and three grandchildren. Keith Edward Corzatt HAYS, Kan. - Keith Edward Corzatt, 78, a former Amarillo resident, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997. Services were at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church with the Rev. Bill Surmeier officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery at Hays by Cline's Mortuary. Mr. Corzatt was born in Media, Ill. He married Esther F. Harkleroad in 1969 in Amarillo. He lived in Amarillo for six years. Mr. Corzatt was a cattle and hog farmer in Clayton, N.M. for four years. He retired and moved to New Almelo, where he lived for 12 years before moving to Hays in 1995. He was a member of St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church. While living in Amarillo, he was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; a son, Bill Corzatt of Stronghurst, Ill.; four daughters, Angela Myers of Media, Mary Morrison and Theresa Cressler, both of LaCrosse, and Emily Teel of Hays; two brothers, James Corzatt of Media and Kenneth Corzatt of Stronghurst; two sisters, Dorothy Blender of Monmouth, Ill., and Marilyn Peterson of Florida; and 12 grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the church. Oklahoma Austin W. Younger HOLLIS, Okla. - Austin W. Younger, 92, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Fairmount Cemetery with his son, the Rev. Jessy Younger, officiating. Arrangements are by Patterson-Greer Funeral Home. Mr. Younger was born in Red Rock. He married Selma Grace Collins in 1928. In 1941, they moved to Hollis and opened Younger's Drive Inn, which they operated until 1972. Mrs. Younger died in 1993. Survivors include his son, Jessy L. Younger of Amarillo; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Area Spence Franklin Hearn PAMPA - Spence Franklin Hearn, 82, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Darrell W. Evans, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Hearn was born in Arkadelphia, Ark. He graduated from Lefors High School at Lefors. He had lived in Pampa since 1924. He was the owner of Aspen Products Manufacturing for 15 years. He was featured in "The Texas Country Reporter'' for his candy making. He had been the owner of the Crystal Palace Candy Store in the 1940s. He married Jessie M. Cunningham in 1940 at Pampa. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Spence Franklin Hearn Jr. of Pampa and Richard Dean Hearn of San Antonio; a daughter, Cynthia Mahavier of Pampa; a sister, Martha Thompson of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, James Hearn and Walter Hearn, both of Nashville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Hospice of the Panhandle or the First Christian Church. Dalton Eugene Haygood Jr. DUMAS - Dalton Eugene Haygood Jr., 42, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997. Services were at 11 a.m. Friday in McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Sentinel, Okla., with Bruce Lewis and James Cudd officiating. Burial was in Sentinel Cemetery. Mr. Haygood was born in Toledo, Ohio. He lived in California before moving to Sentinel. He had lived in the Amarillo / Dumas area for the past 11 years. He had been transporting agriculture products as a truck driver for Crosswinds Trucking for the last two years. Survivors include his parents, Ida and Robby Olmstead of Weatherford, Okla.; a son, Derek Haygood of Stratford; three sisters, Debra Miller of Houston, Diane Schact of Livingston, S.C., and Denise Blevins of Dalles, Ore.; two brothers, Drew Haygood of Caledonia, Wis., and Sean Olmstead of Ponca City, Okla. Beulah Long PADUCAH - Beulah Long, 88, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Crosby, pastor, and Stephen Porter of Pampa officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery by Seigler Funeral Home. Mrs. Long was born in Young County and moved to King County in 1917. She married Homer E. Long in 1930 at Hollis, Okla. He died in 1994. Mrs. Long was a homemaker and a member of Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, James Long and Jerry Pate Long, both of Paducah, and Homer Lee Long of Burkburnett; a brother, J.P. Ratliff of Paducah; two sisters, Adelle Cummings of Lockney and Minnie Lee King of Childress; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Nora Hageman Drummond PADUCAH - Nora Hageman Drummond, 89, of Houston, a former Paducah resident, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Church of Christ with Rick Popejoy, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery by Seigler Funeral Home. Mrs. Drummond was born in Coahoma. She was a longtime resident of Paducah before moving to Houston in 1970. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Her husband, Lawrence Drummond, preceded her in death in 1969. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lou Verdine of Houston; a son, Larry Drummond of Houston; and two grandchildren.
