Burial will be in Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Keener was a native of McCloud, Okla. He came to Borger in 1954 from Shawnee, Okla. He served in the Army and owned and operated K&L Vacuum Truck Service. He married Norma Francis in 1958 at Borger. She married Ray Owens in 1946 at Clayton, N.M. Mrs. Owens was a bookkeeper for Owens Garage and a member of Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; a son, Wayne Owens of Seattle; four daughters, Delores Harrell of Borger, Claranell Turner of Clam Gulch, Ala., Hellen Griffin of Dallas and Linda Isbell of Amarillo; a brother, Junior Key of Loveland, Colo.; three sisters, Elene Ash of Canyon, Peggy Moss of Weatherford and Trula Mae Bennett of Borger; 19 grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Junior W. Caswell PAMPA - Junior W. Caswell, 51, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 1997. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Highland Baptist Church of Pampa with Paul Nachtigall officiating. He worked with his father in the family business, Pampa Front End Alignment. He married Donna McDowell in 1975 at Pampa. Mr. Caswell worked for KN Energy, formerly Dorchester, in 1978. Arrangements are by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mrs. Brock was born in Evant County. She married Gene Brock in 1952 at Chillicothe. He died in 1992. Mrs. Brock came to Deaf Smith County in 1965 from Earth. She was a teacher and a Baptist. She graduated from West Texas State College and also attended Tarleton State University and Hardin Simmons University. She taught at LaPlata Jr. High. She also taught vocational homemaking classes. She was a member of Texas State Teachers Association, N.E.A., State Advisory Board, H.E.R.O. and Classroom Teachers Association. Survivors include a son, Jerry Brock of Hereford; a daughter, Brenda Morton of Amarillo; a brother, Thomas Ashton of Decatur; a sister, Phyllis Moton of Decatur; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Sherrill was born in Haskell. She was a graduate of Haskell High School and received her beauticians license from Parsons Beauty School of Abilene. Amarillo Daniel William Roush Daniel William Roush, 55, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 1997. Services were Sunday at the Veteran's Hospital in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia. Mr. Roush was born in Lakeview, Ore. He moved to Amarillo in 1993. He spent two years in Vietnam as a Green Beret. He retired from the military in 1990. Mr. Roush was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was a secretary for oil companies for many years. Survivors include a brother, Billy Earl Moore of Missouri and a sister-in-law, Billie Jean Moore of Amarillo. Cecil W. Newman Cecil W. Newman, 63, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 1997. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today in St. Mary's Catholic Church by the Rev. Ken Keller, the Rev. Bill Brashears and the Rev. Francis A. Smyer, pastors, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home 6969 I-40 East. Mr. Newman was born in Washburn. He was a lifelong resident of Amarillo. Mr. Newman served in the Army during the Korean War. He graduated from West Texas State University with a bachelor's and master's degree. He was a past member of the River Road Independent School District school board, the Society of Quality Control Engineers and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He was a quality engineer for the Pantex Plant and retired in Feb. He married Eloise Sanchez in 1957 at El Paso. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jeffrey M. Newman of Tulsa; three daughters, Jeannette C. Heatherly of Coppell, Christine C. Newman of Lubbock and Catherine D. Bowles of Plano; his mother, Lois J. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wauneeta Wagner in 1974 and a daughter, Jerrye Perez in 1978. Direct Services will handle the cremation. Mrs. Slack was a longtime resident of Tucumcari, and a member of Center Street United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Jane Knight of Tucumcari and Mary Ann McVay of Torrance, Calif; a sister, Lanell McKee of Wichita, Kan.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was a retired seamstress. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and a member of University Church of Christ. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Baptist Church in Idabell, Okla. Arrangements are by Norwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Anderson was born in Maytown, Texas. She was a registered nurse who worked at Northwest Texas Hospital before retiring. She moved to Idabell 10 years ago. Survivors include two daughters, Jeanette Fuller and Jean Hammett; two sisters, Eudy Jackson of Amarillo and Juanita Kingery of Lubbock; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Lily Carolyn Brown GUYMON, Okla. - Lily Carolyn Brown, 86, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 1997. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Church of the Nazarene with her nephew, the Rev. Eddie Abla, pastor of Church of the Nazarene in Clovis, N.M., and the Rev. Terry Armstrong, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon. Mrs. Brown was born in Delhi. She spent her formative years in Erick, attending the Erick public schools. She married Charlie H. Brown in 1925 at Erick. He died in 1983. The family moved to Guymon in 1946, where they owned and operated the Master Cleaners for more than 27 years. She was an active member of Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday school, and she served as a member of the Dorcas Society. Mrs. Brown had spent the last five years living with her daughter and son-inlaw in Fritch. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Esther Joyce Brown. Survivors include two sons, Wayne E. Brown of Guymon and Sanford B. Brown of Giddings, Texas; a daughter, Aileen Bowen of Fritch; a brother, Dean Alba of Huntsville, Ala.; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren; and 11 greatgreat-grandchildren.
