He had been a mechanic and shop foreman at Pantex. He was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene. He married Willie Frances Ramer in 1927 at Ada. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sandy Cappelli of Wichita Falls and Kim Young of Dallas; a brother, Ed Palmer of Phoenix; a sister, Garnett Stodghill of Plainview; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Michael Glen Wilburn Michael Glen Wilburn, 39, a former Amarillo resident, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997, at Taos, N.M. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Rector Funeral Home Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with Cody Moulton officiating. Mr. Wilburn was born in Amarillo. He retired from Burlington Northern Railroad in 1994. He moved to Red River in 1994, where he owned and operated Southwestern Visions. He married Arlynne Reinhardt in 1992 at Green Mountain Falls, Colo. Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Steven Wilburn of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Brittany Prince of Amarillo; a brother, Brian Wilburn of Amarillo; his father, Ralph Wilburn of Austin; his grandmother, Viola Yale of Amarillo; and one granddaughter. Doris Catherine Willson Doris Catherine Willson, 81, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Bible Baptist Temple with the Rev. Mrs. Willson was born in LeBeth, Kan., and grew up in Oklahoma. She married Vollie Willson in 1945 at Oklahoma City. They moved to Amarillo in 1945. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Willson worked for Dave's Drugstore in the San Jacinto area for 15 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Temple. He served four years in the Army Air Corps during World War II in China, Burma and India. He married Wynona Davidson in 1946 at Hollis, Okla. Mr. Fiore moved to Amarillo in 1961, where he worked for Lee Way Motors and retired from Yellow Freight in 1979. He has received many million-mile safety pins over the years. He was a crop duster, a private pilot and a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church for 31 years. He married Eileen Anne Hoare in 1949 at Bryan. She preceded him in death in 1992. Survivors include five daughters, Rose Plith of Omaha, Neb., and Katie McRae, Anne Baker, Pat Lane and Eileen Peterson, all of Amarillo; one son, Peter T. He was a member of the Lions Club, Volunteer Fire Department and was a deacon at Hale Center Church of Christ. He was a member of Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Clarke was born in Waun, Okla. She married Louie P. Clarke in 1921 at Caney, Kan. She was a resident of Pampa for 50 years, moving to Lubbock in 1985 and to Midland in 1996. She was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church of Pampa and a member of P.E.O. teaching organization. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1975, and a son, John W. Clarke in 1991. Survivors include a son, Dr. L.P. Oklahoma Austin W. Younger HOLLIS, Okla.- Austin W. Younger, 92, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997. Graveside services were Saturday in Fairmount Cemetery with his son, the Rev. Jessy Younger, officiating. Arrangements were by Patterson-Greer Funeral Home. Mr. Younger was born in Red Rock. He married Selma Grace Collins in 1928. In 1941, they moved to Hollis and opened Younger's Drive Inn, which they operated until 1972. Mrs. Younger died in 1993. Survivors include his son, Jessy L. Younger of Amarillo; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. New Mexico Ada C. Aschbacher CLAYTON, N.M. - Ada C. Aschbacher, 86, died Friday, Nov. 7, 1997. Burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, N.M., at 2 p.m . on Tuesday. Mrs. Ashbacher was born in Allen, Kan. She married Donnie Carl Ashbacher at Raton, N.M. He had been the owner of the Crystal Palace Candy Store in the 1940s. He married Jessie M. Cunningham in 1940 at Pampa. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Spence Franklin Hearn Jr. of Pampa and Richard Dean Hearn of San Antonio; a daughter, Cynthia Mahavier of Pampa; a sister, Martha Thompson of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, James Hearn and Walter Hearn, both of Nashville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He lived in California before moving to Sentinel. He had lived in the Amarillo / Dumas area for the past 11 years. He had been transporting agriculture products as a truck driver for Crosswinds Trucking for the last two years. He died in 1994. Mrs. Long was a homemaker and a member of Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, James Long and Jerry Pate Long, both of Paducah, and Homer Lee Long of Burkburnett; a brother, J.P. She was active with the Quanah Airport Board and the Quanah, Acme and Pacific Railroad Museum Board. She was a member of First Christian Church. Franky Dene Mills PLAINVIEW - Franky Dene Mills, 59, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommie Beck, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Lockney, and the Rev. Robert Allen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Mills was born in Canyon. He married Madelyn Tongate in 1958 at Waco. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1956 and attended Texas Tech. He and his brother owned Mills Metal Works from 1963 to 1965. He worked for Hamby Co. as a design engineer from 1965 to 1984, and had 11 patents for tillage and fertilizer equipment. In 1986, he started Design Service Lawn Sprinkler System Co. He was licensed in irrigation and was a certified back flow tester. He was inducted into the Haynes District Hall of Fame in 1997. He was a volunteer for Boy Scouts for many years, and earned the Silver Beaver Award in 1985. He was listed in the Who's Who in Engineering in 1982 and was a Lions Club director. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran United Methodist Church where is was very active in administrative duties, Sunday school, and youth groups for many years. He also was a member of Plains Art Association, South Plains Irrigation Association and Texas Turf Association. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Greg Mills of Marble Falls and Jim Mills of Horseshoe Bay; and three granddaughters. The family requests memorials be to Boy Scouts or Lions Club. Margaret Garcia Hipolito PLAINVIEW - Margaret Garcia Hipolito, 51, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Elbert Fadallan officiating. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hipolito was born in Plainview. She married David Hipolito Jr. in 1964 at Plainview. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a C.C.D. teacher, Eucharistic minister, Lecturer, and worked as a teacher's aide. Survivors include his wife; one son, Wendell Vandiver of Childress; a daughter, Byrda Woodward of Abilene; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Bill Weaver CHILDRESS - Bill Weaver, 67, of Odessa and formerly of Childress, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bradley Bowman of Citrus Heights, Calif. and Kevin Bowman of North Highland, Calif.; one stepson, Les Stripe of Sacramento; a daughter, Alisa Laughlin of Lynette, S.C.; two stepdaughters, Renda Gail of Carmon Park, Calif and Sherry Olson of Fair Oaks, Calif.; two sisters, Phyllis Bell of Mooreland, Ind., and Dorotha Stanley of Anderson, Ind.; five grandchildren; and one stepgrandchild. Lendel R. Culifer VIGO PARK - Lendel R. Culifer, 60, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Vigo Park Community Church, with the Rev. Jay Stinson, pastor of Silverton and Vigo Park Methodist churches, officiating. Burial will be in Vigo Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wallace Funeral Home. Mr. Culifer was born in Bonham. He attended Wayside and Tulia schools. He married Lyndia Faye Richardson in 1967 at Vigo Park. He was a member of Vigo Park Community Church. He was a cattleman and a rancher, working for Tulia Livestock Auction for 16 years and was a partner with Golden Acres Cattle Co. for 23 years. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Monica Jo Culifer of Vigo Park; his mother, Clydia Culifer of Tulia; one sister, Lena Watkins of Tulia; three brothers, Leslie Culifer and Jerry Culifer, both of Tulia, and Wayne Culifer of Oklahoma; and one grandchild. The family suggests memorials be to Wayside Ambulance or American Diabetes Association.
