Garfield St., died Sunday, May 11, 1997. Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. today in the Bell Avenue Chapel. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis Crow officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St. Mr. Arebalo was born in Amarillo. He served in the Army during World War II in the South Pacific and also in the Korean War. He married Toni Arebalo in 1967. He was a construction worker. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mary Grado of California; two sons, Andy Arebalo of Amarillo and Raymond Arebalo of Nebraska; a brother, Joe Ray Arebalo of Amarillo; three sisters, Eva Renteria of Amarillo, Carolyn Ponce of Wilmington, Calif., and Frances Moya of Albuquerque, N.M.; and two grandchildren. The family will be at 1002 N. Garfield St. Area Woody Sims TULIA - Woody Sims, 84, died Friday, May 9, 1997. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Wallace Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Janell Blair, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Sims was born in Mountain Park, Okla. He grew up and attended schools at Union Hill in Swisher County. He graduated from Tulia High School. He worked for Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, Calif., during World War II. In the early 1960s, he worked as a salesman for Lubrication Engineers for about 20 years. After he retired, he moved back to Tulia. He married Freida Parsons. She preceded him in death. Survivors include two stepsons; two sisters, Adell Wiggins of Amarillo, and Monte Oscheim of Long Beach, Calif. Andres Rodriguez TULIA - Andres Rodriguez, 33, died Sunday, May 11, 1997. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Rose Hill Cemetery at Tulia, with the Rev. Don Auten, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Wallace Funeral Home of Tulia. Mr. Rodriguez was born in Beeville. He was raised in Plainview. He attended schools in Plainview. He moved to Amarillo in 1992. He worked as a laborer for IBP in Amarillo. He also had worked for United Filters in Amarillo. Survivors include two sons, Andy Rodriguez and Anthony Rodriguez, both of Tulia; his mother, Lupe Cardenas of Beeville; five sisters, Lanore Arredondo and Alice Sanchez, both of Amarillo, Flora Rodriguez of Post, Rachel Keller and Dora Garcia, both of Beeville; and two brothers, Tito Rodriguez Jr. of Amarillo and Pedro Rodriguez of Ohio. Zettie Coats QUANAH - Zettie Coats, 83, died Sunday, May 11, 1997. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Quanah Memorial Park with Lyndal Werner officiating. Arrangements are by Price-Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Coats was born in Quanah. She had worked in the dietary department of the local hospital and nursing home. Most of her life was spent as a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She married Russell Coats in 1933 at Eldorado, Okla. He died in 1996. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Smith of Quanah; a brother, Richard E. Watson of Oakdale, Calif.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Frank Lee MULESHOE - Frank Lee, 91, died Saturday, May 10, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Ellis Funeral Home Chapel at Muleshoe, with the Rev. Bill Mosley, interim pastor of Richland Hills Baptist Church, and the Rev. Bob Burris, pastor of Texico First Assembly of God Church in Texico, officiating. Burial will be at Muleshoe Cemetery. Mr. Lee was born in Mountain Park, Okla. He moved to Muleshoe from Kiowa County, Okla., in 1935. He was a carpenter and painter in the Muleshoe area for 50 years. He was a member of the Richland Hills Baptist Church. He married Edith Roebuck in 1936 at Clovis, N.M. She died in 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Lawanna Stroud of Muleshoe and Brenda Hill of Snyder; a sister, Nora Bowden of Fresno, Calif.; and three grandchildren. Leo Moore DALHART - Leo Moore, 83, died Friday, May 9, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Lincoln Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob McAllister, pastor, Tobey Huckabee, pastor of First Baptist Church in Hartley, and the Rev. Jimmy Reese of Canyon officiating. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Moore was born near Granbury, and raised in Wheeler. He was a veteran of World War II. He married Daisy L. Schaffer in 1943 in Little Rock, Ark. They moved to Dalhart in 1947 and have farmed and ranched in the area since. He was active in the Baptist Church. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalhart for more than 30 years before joining Lincoln Street Baptist Church, where he was a member for more than 15 years. For the past year he was a member of the Hartley Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Edward R. Moore of Dalhart and Dr. William Leo Moore of Tyler; a daughter, Beverly Glazener Okla. He died in 1985. She and her husband owned and operated The Coffee Cup Cafe for several years in Dumas. Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Russell and Gloria Woodman, both of Dumas; two sons, Jim Keeney of Louisburg, Kan., and Hilliard Keeney of Pella, Iowa; two brothers, Herman Jones of California, and Kenneth Jones of Shawnee, Okla.; two sisters, Clarice Keeney of Amarillo, and Elsie Sparkman of Tecumseh, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. The family will be at 129 Cherry, Dumas, Texas 79029. The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity.
