She married Robert Casey in 1934 at Roswell, N.M. He died in 1991. Survivors include four sons, Bob Casey and V.A. Frank Casey, both of Amarillo, Jack Casey of Roundup, Mo., and Jim Casey of Virginia Beach, Va.; two daughters, Kathy Ridenhour of Lake Tanglewood and Mary Casey of Portland, Ore.; three brothers, Wesley Hodges of Canyon, Delmer King of Gentry, Ark., and R.C. Iva Maude Kenney Iva Maude Kenney, 83, of Amarillo, formerly of Big Spring, died Friday, July 11, 1997, in Claude. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Dick Marcear, minister of Central Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Kenney was born in Dallas. She had resided in Big Spring until 1978, when she moved to Amarillo. In 1996, she moved to Claude. She was a homemaker and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Rebekah Lodge No. 284, Order of the Eastern Star-Friendship Chapter in Tulsa, Okla., and Wesley United Methodist Church in Big Springs. She married Raymond Kenney in 1950 at Wichita, Kan. He died in 1987. She was also preceded in death by her only son, Steven Moore, in 1989. Survivors include a granddaughter, Michelle Ponder of Amarillo; a grandson, Roger Moore of Terry Point, N.C.; and six great-grandchildren. The family will be at 4715 Cherokee Trail. She married Raymond Edward Prien in 1929 at Moline, Ill. He died in 1971. He was employed by Southwestern Public Service Co. for 17 years. He had also worked for Cattletown Feedyard in Hereford, as a cowboy boss and assistant manager for eight years, before moving to Amarillo. He was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. He married Iris Clifton in 1962 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; a son, Waddy Clifton of the home; a daughter, Jami Clifton of the home; his parents, Earl and Patsy Clifton of Amarillo; two sisters, Earline Luse and Connie Fennell, both of Amarillo; and two grandchildren. He was also a member of the Methodist Church. He married Pauline in 1941. She died in 1990. Survivors include a son, Dennis H. Moore of Arlington; a daughter, Glenda Scott of Childress; two brothers, Jackie Moore and Norman Moore, both of Wichita Falls; and a sister, Ruth Willard of Quanah. W. Christine Butler IRAAN - W. Christine Butler, 69, died Thursday, July 10, 1997, in Fort Stockton. Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Wright officiating. She moved to Iraan in 1980. She was a Baptist. She graduated from Clayton High School in Clayton, N.M. She married R.Q. Butler in 1957 at Las Vegas, N.M. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Diane Monroe of Iraan, and Debra Cochrell of Higgins; four sons, Ralph Smith of Tijeras, N.M., Phelan Ray Butler of Circleville, Utah, Ronald Butler and Loren Butler, both of Arlington; a sister, Agnes Bishop of Wellington; and 21 grandchildren. He then attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University at Alva, receiving a bachelor of arts degree in 1990 and a bachelor of arts in education in 1994. He has been employed for the past year by the Claflin, Kan., school system as a high school English teacher. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a member of the National and Kansas Education Associations. Survivors include his parents, John and Carole Froage of Mutual; two brothers, Jason Froage of Weatherford, and Jeremy Froage of Amarillo; and his grandparents, Lila Froage of Gage and Lynn and Evelyn Wildman of Woodward. Area Estella Casarez HEREFORD - Estella Casarez, 78, died Saturday, July 12, 1997, in Amarillo. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday and will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Parkside Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in San Jose Catholic Church with Father Domingo Castillo officiating. Burial will be at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Mrs. Casarez was born in Galina, Mexico. Her family moved to Hereford shortly after she was born. She was a homemaker and a member of Guadalupana Society. She was also a member of San Jose Catholic Church. She married Ciro Casarez in 1935 at Sinton. He died in 1971. Survivors include four sons, Lupe Casarez, Ciro Casarez Jr., Mike Casarez and David Casarez, all of Hereford; six daughters, Elva of Kyle, Olga Tijerina of Nissan, Ore., and Leticia Alejandro of El Paso; a brother, Victor Alejandro of Casa Grande, Ariz.; two sisters, Petra Zuniga and Esperanza Pena, both of Casa Grande, Ariz.; 43 grandchildren; and 43 greatgrandchildren. Bruno R. Narvaez MEMPHIS - Bruno R. Narvaez, 83, died Saturday, July 12, 1997. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. today in Spicer Chapel. Mr. Narvaez was a deacon at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was also a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. He married Maria Santos. She died in 1941. He married Manuella Narvaez in 1945 at Sinton. Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Minton / Chatwell Memorial Chapel in Borger with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Masonic graveside services will be under the Auspices of Isom Masonic Lodge No. 1242. Burial will be in the Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Dugan was a native of Moundridge, Kan. He came to this area in 1963 from Pampa. He was a gas measuring engineer. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a member of Isom Masonic Lodge No. 1242, where he was past master during 1989 and 1990. He was a member of Tri City Scottish Rites Bodies, member of the Borger Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 811 and Borger American Legion No. 671. He was also a member of BPOE No. 1571 of Borger. He married Thelma Litchford in 1981 at Stinnett. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Yvonne Nichols of Borger, and Kiona Payne of Odessa; two stepdaughters, Sharon Duckworth of Anaheim, Calif., and Kerry Moon of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; three stepsons, John Moon of O'Keene, Okla., Melvin Moon of Buena Park, Calif., and Gordon D. Mrs. Germany was born in Blue Ridge. She was a retired seamstress. She volunteered at the Heritage House and the Prairie House. She was a Baptist and a member of RSVP Club and a lifetime member of Rebekah Lodge in Lockney. She married W.A. Rushing in 1935 at Collin County. He died in 1960. She married Floyd Germany in 1965 at Lubbock. He died in 1972. She was also preceded in death by an infant in 1949. Survivors include two daughters, Willie Dean Coleman and Sylvia Ann Watts, both of Plainview; a son, Jimmy Rushing of Farmington, N.M.; a brother, G.D. Jeffcoat of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. David Edmond Wright CHILDRESS - David Edmond Wright, 72, died Sunday, July 13, 1997. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home of Childress. Mr. Wright was born in Childress. He was a retired owner and operator of Wright Food. He was a veteran of World War II and was awarded several medals. He was a member of Elks, Childress Country Club and First Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sissy Wright, in 1976, and a stepdaughter, Jeannie Dorman, in 1984. Survivors include his wife, Jean Wright; a daughter, LaCreshia Holman of Hardin; a stepson, Alan Collins of Amarillo; three sisters, Diane Mashburn and Dolores Timmons, both of Childress, and Doris Darnell of Lubbock; a brother, Harold Dean Wright of Euless; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Vance Murdoch MORTON - Vance Murdoch, 28, died Saturday, July 12, 1997, in San Angelo. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Short of Odessa officiating. He was a graduate of Morton High School, where he was an all-district football player. He graduated from San Angelo University with a degree in agriculture economics. He was employed in quality control at the San Angelo Meat Packing Plant. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Morton Roping Club. He married Laura Hernandez in 1989 at Morton. Survivors include his wife of San Angelo; two sons, James Chance and Keaton Gene Murdoch of San Angelo; his parents, Trueman and Billie Murdoch of Morton; his maternal grandmother, Willie Mae Bell; and two sisters, Cheyenne Murdoch of Lubbock and Larenda Murdoch of Morton.
