Mosley Jay D. Mosley, 46, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, June 11, 1997. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Dr. Dana Moore officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mr. Mosley was born in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School. He was a Navy veteran and a salesman for a moving company. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and a member and sponsor of Alcoholics Anonymous. He married LaDonna Day in 1993 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jay W. Mosley, Kris Mosley and Joe Mosley; two daughters, Chasity Hunt and Kim Hunt; his mother, Foy Jean Mosley of Amarillo; a brother, Ben Mosley of Sioux City, Iowa; three sisters, Ceceila M. Frazier, Martha McWilliams and Leslie Childers, all of Amarillo; and eight grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. Erma Mae Boyd Erma Mae Boyd, 75, of Wayside, died Thursday, June 12, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, with Dr. Charles Jones of Second Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Boyd was born in Wayside. She graduated from Petit High School in Levelland in 1941. She served with the WACC from 1944 to 1945. She moved to Amarillo in 1945. She married Jesse Murrel "Bill'' Boyd in 1949. He died in 1989. Mrs. Boyd retired as a bookkeeper for A to Z Tire and Battery in 1978. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. She had lived in Wayside for 14 years. Survivors include two sons, Charlie M. Boyd of Blue Eye, Mo., and Michael Boyd of Amarillo; three daughters, Karon M. Patterson of Olive Branch, Miss., Eula Mae Rains of Amarillo and Gaylyne M. Manns of Happy; a stepdaughter, Olivia R. Swan of Burleson; a brother, Jack Sutton of Wayside; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will be at 4823 Buck Drive. Curtis Wayne Robertson, 68, of Amarillo, died Thursday, June 12, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Gary Kellison of Bethel Assembly and the Rev. Mazie Richards of Christ Life Fellowship officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Robertson was born in Olney and moved to Amarillo in 1967. He was in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He married Deloris Haney in 1968 at Panhandle. He became an ordained minister in 1983. He was a moderator at Bethel Assembly from 1992 to 1996. He also was well-known for his music ministry. Survivors include his wife; six sons, Mike Robertson of Southlake, Jessie Haney of Fort Worth, Edward Haney, Frankie Haney and Gary Allen Haney, all of Amarillo, and Johnny Joe Haney of Weatherford; seven daughters, Sharon Bata of Iowa Park, Vickie Diedrick of Grapevine, Doris Perry and Ruthie Hooper, both of Fort Worth, Debbie Tatum of Los Angeles, and Sandra Allred and Rhonda Hefner, both of Amarillo; three sisters, Novella Lee and Joy Graham, both of Olney, and Shirley McWhorter of Mesquite; two brothers, Namon Robertson and Clayton Robertson, both of Olney; 37 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice. J.D. Coker J.D. Coker, 88, of Amarillo, died Thursday, June 12, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in N.S. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery East. Mr. Coker was born in Sinton and moved to Amarillo in 1941. He married Mayme Earley in 1929 at Hobart, Okla. He graduated from Central State Teachers College in Edmond, Okla., with a degree in mathematics. He played football and participated in track and field while attending CSTC. He was drafted by the government to teach welding at Amarillo College during World War II. He owned and operated Coker's Weldrite Welding Service for more than 40 years before selling it in 1984. Mr. Coker was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Ruth Taylor of Amarillo and Yvonne Ward of Irving; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. New Mexico Faaloloqo Sapau Teofilo CLOVIS, N.M. - Faaloloqo Sapau Teofilo, 85, died Saturday, June 7, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Carlos Chavez officiating. Burial will be in Mission Garden of Memories by Steed-Todd Funeral Directors. Mrs. Teofilo was born in Saleioma, Western Samoa. Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Christina Faiai and Afatia Leota, both of Clovis, Faalologo Filloon of Las Vegas, Nev., and Ana Solee' of Leone, American Samoa; two sons, Pale Okiana Lemanua of Leavenworth, Kan., and Laauli Teofilo of Carson, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Ron Kelley, pastor of First United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Ernie Brown, director of the Roaring Springs Assembly of God Youth Camp, officiating. Burial with Masonic and military honors will be in Afton Cemetery at Afton. Arrangements are by Seigler Funeral Home of Matador. Mr. Sedgwick was born in Dickens County. He married Venita Cook in 1950 at Clovis, N.M. He retired as a heavy equipment operator for the Navy in 1975. He then moved to Roaring Springs. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jerry Don Sedgwick of Claude; a daughter, LaVonda Sue McGee of Summerville; a sister, Pearl Patten of Roaring Springs; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Area Audra Craig DALHART - Audra Craig, 75, died Thursday, June 12, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Denver Avenue Church of Christ with Gaylord Cook, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Hass Funeral Home. Mrs. Craig was born in Thalia. She graduated from Thalia High School and attended North Texas State University. She married Nick P. Craig in 1945 at Fort Worth. They moved to Dalhart in 1953 from Marlin. She operated a specialty bakery in her home and helped cater weddings throughout the Tri-State area. She was active in 4H, FFA, FHA, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and was president of the FCE Club. She also was a member of Denver Avenue Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband; a son, Andy Craig of Mesquite; a daughter, Claudia Truax of Independence, Mo.; a brother, Alton Abston of Wichita Falls; three sisters, Laverne Shaffer of San Jose, Calif., Lora Williams of Wichita Falls and and Iris Wilson of Iowa Park; and two grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to High Plains Children's Home in Amarillo. Paul Cumberledge LEFORS - Paul "Bud'' Cumberledge, 83, died Thursday, June 12, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lewis Ellis, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Cumberledge was born in Salem, W.Va., and had been a resident of Lefors since 1929. He married Alma Holley in 1939 at Lefors. He worked at Cities Service as an operator for 17 years and at Coltexo for six years. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Paula Jo Eubanks of Hereford and Karen Sue Reeves of Lefors; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church of Lefors or Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center in Amarillo. Ludie O'Hair Alexander QUANAH - Ludie O'Hair "Chic'' Alexander, 87, died Thursday, June 12, 1997. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Quanah Memorial Park with the Rev. Doug Johannsen of Lawton, Okla., officiating. Arrangements are by Price-Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Alexander was born in Marysville and raised in Medicine Mound. She had been a lifetime resident of Hardeman County. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William O'Hair Jr., in 1959. She married D.L. Alexander in 1963 at Quanah. He died in 1975. Mrs. Alexander worked for the post office for many years as a rural route carrier. She also was a bookkeeper for Hicky Chevrolet. She was a member of World Wide Church of God. Survivors include a son, John Barlow of Casa Grande, Ariz.; and a sister, Maud Young of Muleshoe. The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers be to Texas Boys Ranch.
