Lindsay DUMAS - William T."Bill" Lindsay, 70, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Morrison Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Scott Willingham, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Lindsay was born in Kendrick, Okla. He had been a resident of Dumas since 1959. He married Syble Fay Neagle King in 1988 in Dumas. He was an Army veteran and a retired operator at Phillips Petroleum. Survivors include his wife; two stepdaughters, Robin Burton of Dumas and Debra Norman of Amarillo; a brother, John D. Lindsay of Fullerton, Calif.; a sister, Mary Francis of Oklahoma City; and six grandchildren. Annie Merle Hanes Isaacs WELLINGTON - Annie Merle Hanes Isaacs, 88, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Harry Stallings officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home. Mrs. Isaacs was born in Throckmorton County, Texas. She married James F. Isaacs in 1929 at Bethel. She moved to Wellington in 1944. She was a homemaker and a receptionist at Collingsworth County Historical Museum. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993, and a daughter, Charlotte Bergvall in 1978. Survivors include three daughters, Ethel Jean Mullins of Mansfield, Naomi Austin of Plainview and Donna Maxwell of Wellington; four sons, James H. Isaacs of Fort Worth, Hanes Isaacs of Chino Valley, Ariz., David Isaacs of Houston, and Harvey Isaacs of Dalhart; a sister, Chloe McMullin of McLean; 23 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was retired from the personnel department at Amarillo Independent School District. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile Jubileers and Saint Anthony's Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her first husband Neal Dallke in 1970. Survivors include her husband; a son, Glenn Dallke of Amarillo; a stepson, Doyle Walker of Cabot, Ark.; a stepdaughter, Terrie Horkulic of Sacramento, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Mr. Nuzum was born in Amarillo. He married Rosie De La Garza in 1990. He was employed as a machinist at Crouse Hinds. He had been a race car driver for 20 years and was a member of Amarillo Modified Midget Association. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Rachel A. Nuzum of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Nuzum Sr., of Amarillo; and three sisters, Sherry Phillips, Cindy Henson and Judy Philley, all of Amarillo. The family will be at 8100 Santa Fe Trail. Irene L. Guinn Irene L. Guinn, 77, of Amarillo, died Friday, Nov. 14. 1997. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara High of Amarillo and Sharon Gamble of Brownsville; a brother, Bobby Gamblin of San Angelo; two sisters, Mary Lou Jobe and Betty Jo Bouse, both of Corpus Christi; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In 1983 she retired from the Senior Citizens Association where she was nutrition director. She was a member of Saint Laurence Cathedral. Survivors include two daughters, Frances Parker of Canyon and Jackie Yelton of Amarillo; a longtime friend, Earl Woodson of Amarillo; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will be at No. 7 Teal Court and requests memorials be to Alzheimer's Association. Canyon Mary Parker Mary Parker, 86, of Canyon, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 1997. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors. Mrs. Parker moved to Amarillo in 1941. She married James Morris in Warren, Ohio in 1926. He preceded her in death. She married Warren Parker in 1943 at Amarillo, he died in 1956. She moved to Canyon 1947 where she owned and operated Dan's Fifth Avenue from 1954 to 1993. She was a Charter Member of Randall County Republican Women's Club and a member of the Single Together Organization. Survivors include two sons, Michael Morris and Daniel Morris, both of Amarillo; a daughter, Rose Pearson of Fort Worth; a sister, Angela Fabrizio of Port Charlotte, Fla.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild.
