Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Latham officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Smith was born in Beckham County, Okla. He had lived in the Perryton area for 60 years, moving from Carter, Okla. He graduated from Southwestern State Teacher's College, where he was on the wrestling team. He worked at the post office for 30 years. He was a Mason. Mr. Smith married Faith Dunham in 1936 at Davidson, Okla. She died in 1996. Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Ann Duff of Mansfield; a son, John D. Smith of Van; three sisters, Jane Johnson of Cleburne, Ina Faye Smith of Oklahoma City and Viola Ward of Pampa; two brothers, Verbon Smith of Leedey, Okla., and Quinton Smith of Seiling, Okla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the Senior Village, Hwy. 83, Perryton, Texas 79070. Gladys Streetman Enzminger PAMPA - Gladys Streetman Enzminger, 93, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Edwin Cooley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by CarmichaelWhatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Enzminger was born in Granbury. She moved to Pampa in 1969 from Redlands, Calif. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was active in various community activities. She married E.B. Streetman in 1920 at Cleburne. He died in 1950. She married Harry Enzminger in 1967 at Pampa. He died in 1974. Survivors include a daughter, Fauncine Mack of Pampa; and a granddaughter. The family requests memorials be to the Book of Remembrance at First Presbyterian Church. Charleen Nary DUMAS - Charleen Nary, 68, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Street Church of Christ with Art Lynch, minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Nary was born in Roswell, N.M., and had been a Dumas resident for the past 17 years. She was a home service adviser for Southwestern Public Service Co. for more than 20 years. She was a longtime member of the Turtle Club. She married Bud Nary in 1973 at Guymon, Okla. He died in 1991. Survivors include four sons, Leo Nary of Fritch, Don Shields of Dallas, Rex Shields of Guymon and P.J. Nary of York, Neb.; three daughters, Linda McAtee of Dumas, Pam Frittz of Guymon and Jill Purtee of Dallas; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The family will be at 313 Melinda Lane. They request memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. 2nd, Dumas, Texas 79029. Judson Edward Line HEREFORD - Judson Edward Line, 75, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Cosby, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mr. Line was born in Panhandle. He moved to Deaf Smith County in 1953 from Vega. He was a former county attorney for Deaf Smith and Oldham counties. He served with the Navy during World War II as an aircraft carrier pilot in the southwest Pacific. He also was a landing signal officer. Mr. Line married Ann Jordon in 1950 at Pampa. He was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church, where he taught the Men's Sunday School Class. He was a past president of the Merry Mixers Square Dance Club and the Hereford Noon Lions Club. He was a 32nd Degree Mason. Survivors include his wife; a son, Lee Edward Line of Austin; a daughter, Terie Beth Dillard of Plano; and a granddaughter. The family will be at 310 Sunset. They request memorials be to the First Baptist Church choir fund or the Hereford Senior Citizens. Rev. Jesse W. Roberson VEGA - The Rev. Jesse W. Roberson, 85, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Vega United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Phillips, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Vega Memorial Park Cemetery by Vega Funeral Home. The Rev. Roberson was born in Augusta and had lived in Vega for 41/2 years. He was a Methodist minister for 42 years before retiring. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Senior Citizens. He was a past member of the Lions Club in Liberty. He had been a Mason for 50 years. He also was a member of the Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. Rev. Roberson married Thursia Lee Rider in 1940. She died in 1971. He married Alma McManus in 1972. She died in 1989. He married Mayme Clark in 1993 at Vega. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jo Ann Rotermund of Houston; two sons, Charlie Roberson of Roseville, Calif., and William Gene Roberson of Calabasas, Calif.; two stepsons, Lynn King of Amarillo and Clark King of College Station; four stepdaughters, Virginia Harris of Nacogdoches, Roberta Bishop of Huntsville, Lynna Wright of Frisco and Karen Witt of Amarillo; a sister, Emily Smith of Dallas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Keith Oliver FRIONA - Keith Oliver, 77, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1997. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo with the Rev. Don Boren, pastor of Friona First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by EllisBlackwell Funeral Home. Mr. Oliver was born in Fannin County. He had lived in Friona since 1985, moving from Anaheim, Calif. He married Wanda Roberts in 1946 at Bellflower, Calif. Mr. Oliver retired in 1983 from Pacific Bell Telephone Co. of California after 35 years of service. He served with the Marines during World War II. He was a Methodist and a member of the Marine Raider Association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the Telephone Company Pioneers of America. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Renee King of Garden Grove, Calif.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Amarillo Bettie J. Ledbetter Bettie J. Ledbetter, 71, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church with Tommy Ewing of the church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St. Mrs. Ledbetter was born in Tulia. She moved to Amarillo in 1952 from Moore County. She married Leo Ledbetter in 1946 at Stratford. Mrs. Ledbetter was a physical therapy aide for more than 10 years. She was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Jean Thrash and Sue Jones, both of Amarillo, and Donna Mullins of Canyon; a brother, Rex Burgess of Spearman; three sisters, Florene Smith of Missouri, and Ann Johnson and Bobbie Wilson, both of Stratford; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will be at 7105 Marlowe Road. Jack M. Daves Jack M. Daves, 93, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Clifford Sampier of Colorado officiating. Services will conclude in the chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Daves was born in Hollis, Okla. He moved to Amarillo in 1974 after having lived in Hereford and Clayton, N.M. He was the owner of Boots and Saddles in Hereford. He married Ruth Williams in 1925 at Clayton. Survivors include his wife; a son, Orville Daves McBee of Aztec, N.M.; a daughter, Wanda Streu of Amarillo; a sister, Mary Sampier of Clayton; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Robert Bob Fletcher Robert Bob Fletcher, 70, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home East Mausoleum, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Entombment will be in the East Mausoleum. Mr. Fletcher was born in Galesburg, Ill., and was raised in the Valley. He moved to Amarillo in 1952. He was a groundskeeper for IBM. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 1239. He married Dorothy Spence in 1950. They owned B&D Trading Post. Survivors include his wife; six brothers; and four sisters. Beaulah Constance Thompson Pierce Beaulah Constance Thompson Pierce, 93, formerly of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997, in Albuquerque, N.M. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Lynn Camp, elder, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Pierce was born in Clear Creek, Ark. She lived in Amarillo for 37 years before moving to Fort Worth and then to Albuquerque. She was a homemaker and a member of Southwest Church of Christ. Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Chrystal Loyal "Chrys" Pierce, in 1989. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Loyalcie Mae Toliver. Survivors include two sons, Jack Pierce of Albuquerque and Allan Pierce of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today. New Mexico Thelma Delona Ross PORTALES, N.M - Thelma Delona Ross, 85, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1997. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Southside Church of Christ with Larry Foster, Marlin Poynor, Jack Self and Ernest Jaramillo officiating. Burial will be in Portales Cemetery by Wheeler Mortuary of Portales Inc. Mrs. Ross was born in New Hope, Ark. While growing up, she also lived in Umpire, Ark., and Dierks, Ark. She married Grover C. Ross in 1928 at Turkey, Texas. They lived in Norge, Okla.; Morrilton, Ark.; Searcy, Ark.; and Abilene, Texas. They later lived in Eliasville, Texas; Cisco, Texas; Winters, Texas; Albuquerque; Monahans, Texas; and Portales, where they lived for more than 50 years. Mrs. Ross taught Sunday school to kindergartners and first-graders for more than 20 years. She sang in gospel groups and at funerals and special services. Survivors include two sons, Bernard Eugene of Midland, Texas, and G.C.
