Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Jay Roberson, pastor of Liberty Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Ms. Barnard was born in Reydon, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo for more than 50 years. She was Pentecostal. She was preceded in death by a son, Eldon Barnard, in 1989; and a daughter, Fran South, in 1991. Survivors include a son, Delonn Barnard of Modesto, Calif.; two sisters, Eve Lynn Bushey of Amarillo and Pauline Minard of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 10 grandchildren including granddaughter, Donna Proctor of Amarillo; and several great-grandchildren. Following the service, the family will be at 5720 W. 37th Ave. They suggest memorials be to St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, Texas 79176-0001. Blanche G. Bush Blanche G. Bush, 94, of 1620 Lockney St., died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1997. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in First Christian Church at Douglass, Kan., with the Rev. Cliff Mussic of the church officiating. Burial will be in Douglass Cemetery at Douglass by Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home of Derby, Kan. Local arrangements were by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mrs. Bush was born in Winfield, Kan. She was active in First Christian Church and served as church clerk and was a member of the choir for many years. She moved to Amarillo in 1983 and was a member of First Christian Church of Amarillo and the Congenial Couples Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marion Porter, in 1937; her second husband, Robert Bush, in 1978; two sons, Gene Porter in 1987 and Jim Porter in 1986; two stepsons, Walter Bush and Gene Bush; and a stepdaughter, Betty Hoenig. Survivors include a daughter, Norma Brod of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Bobbie Galbraith of Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Hilda Bard of Pueblo West, Colo.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Meals on Wheels or St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center. New Mexico A.R. Boone CLOVIS, N.M. - A.R. "Raymond" Boone, 91, died Monday, Jan. 27, 1997. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in 16th and Pile Street Church of Christ with Jerry Kendall and Condy Billingsley officiating. Burial will be Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens by Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Mr. Boone was born in Sterling County, Texas, and had lived in Clovis since 1941. He was a car foreman with Santa Fe Railway and retired after 47 years of service. He was a member of 16th and Pile Street Church of Christ for 58 years and also served as an elder and a deacon. He married Lois Alexander in 1926 at Farwell, Texas. Survivors include his wife; a son, Bill Boone of Amarillo; a daughter, Jean Moore of Albuquerque; a brother, Ralph Boone of Clovis; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. Elsewhere Samuel G. Robinson Jr. WICHITA FALLS - Samuel G. Robinson Jr., 69, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1997. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Chillicothe Cemetery at Chillicothe with the Rev. Brian Hughes, minister of First Assembly of God Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Sullivan Funeral Home of Vernon. Mr. Robinson was born in Tompkinsville, Ky., and lived most of his life in the Panhandle of Texas and Wichita Falls. He retired as a section foreman for Fort Worth and Denver Railroad. He was a veteran of the Army and a member of Lodge No. 1082 of the Brotherhood of Maintenance and Ways. Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Shorter of Lawton, Okla.; five sons, John Robinson of Lubbock, Rick Robinson of Austin, Mike Robinson of Wichita Falls, and Sammy Robinson and Ken Robinson, both of Vernon; four brothers, Carter Robinson of Louisville, Ky., Dick Robinson of Fort Worth, Benny Robinson of McLean and Lewis Weldon Robinson of Lewisville; three sisters, Ruby Nell Dismuke and Mildred Dalton, both of San Antonio, and Olene Brown of McLean; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will be at 4206 Country Drive in Vernon. They will be at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Ernest E. Finklea DANBURY, Conn. - Ernest E. Finklea, 75, of Bethel, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 1997. Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Cremation will be at a later date by Ferncliff Crematory in Hartsdale, N.Y. Arrangements are by Hull Funeral Service. Mr. Finklea was born in Amarillo. He was educated in Texas and received a master's degree from Texas A&M University. He served in the Army during World War II. He was employed by Schlumberger Research Center in Ridgefield for 30 years, serving in a variety of administrative and technical positions. After retiring in 1985, he became active in the building of the Patterson, N.Y., Educational Center of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Kelleam Finklea; three sons, Ernest E. Finklea III of Tucson, Ariz., James N. Finklea of Ridgefield and Philip A. Finklea of Bethel; a daughter, Ellen Jane Vozzo of Wallkill, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. Cyd Martin of Los Angeles; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Area Coda E. Fenley Fogle STINNETT - Coda E. Fenley Fogle, 81, a former Stinnett resident, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 1997, in Austin. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Orville Rogers, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Fogle was born in Cooke County and had been a longtime Phillips and Stinnett area resident. She was a homemaker and former manager of the Phillips school cafeteria. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Stinnett and Stinnett Senior Citizens and also worked with the Helping Hands organization. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Loran A. Fenley, in 1972. Survivors include her husband, Doyle H. Fogle; two sons, Jerry Fenley of Austin and Mike Fenley of Rosenberg; two sisters, Evelyn Elmore of Amarillo and Murl Shivers of San Antonio; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Willie Mae Bagwell Rodgers CLAUDE - Willie Mae Bagwell Rodgers, 96, died Monday, Jan. 27, 1997. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Claude Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Crumpton of Claude United Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd., in Amarillo. Mrs. Rodgers was the last surviving member of the Dr. J.C. Bagwell family. Her parents moved to Armstrong County from Georgia in 1890. They settled on Mulberry Flats which is now part of the J.A. Ranch. They later moved to the Claude area. She holds degrees from West Texas State College and a master's degree from the University of Texas. She taught school in Groom, Claude, Hereford and San Angelo. She retired from the San Angelo schools after 35 years of teaching there. She was preceded in death by her husband, S.T. Rodgers, in 1977. She was a member of the Claude United Methodist Church. Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mary Belle Hay of San Angelo; two stepgrandsons; and a great-stepgrandson. The family requests memorials be to the Claude Museum or the Claude Methodist Church. Mollie Hart PADUCAH - Mollie Hart, 81, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Millican, former pastor of Abilene, and the Rev. Sam Crosby, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery by Seigler Funeral Home. Mrs. Hart was born in San Augustine and had been a resident of Paducah since 1975. She lived in Crane and Snyder before moving to Paducah. She was a nurse's aide in Crane and Paducah. She married Leo Stanley Hart in 1941. He died in 1975. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Atha Leona Moss, in 1941. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member of the 1923 Study Club. Survivors include two sisters, Viola Petty of Paducah and Thelma Cowart of Achille, Okla. Ambrosio Pesina MULESHOE - Ambrosio Pesina, 85, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1997. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Augustine officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Cemetery. Mr. Pesina was born in San Luis, Mexico. He was a farmer and moved in 1956 to Muleshoe from the Enochs community. He married Maria Avila in 1966 at Monterrey, Mexico. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; a son, Juan Manuel Pesina-Avila of Fort Bragg, N.C.; and three grandchildren. Sharron Duby DUMAS - Sharron Duby, 29, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Willingham, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Duby was born in Lovington, N.M. She had been a Dumas resident for eight years, moving from Bastrop. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, David Lee Duby; four sons, Brandon Duby, Bradley Duby, Christian Duby and Christopher Duby, all of the home; a daughter, Sharron Ashley Duby of the home; her mother and stepfather, Paddy and Mike Root of Saranac Lake, N.Y.; her father and stepmother, Ferrel and Lila Kellar of Bastrop; a sister, Sheelagh Campos of Bastrop; a brother, Scott Root of Saranac Lake; grandparents, Wayne and Zepha O'Kelly of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Wallas and Norma Kellar of Dumas; and a greatgrandmother, Rosa Lucas of Cheyenne, Wyo. The family will be at 1205 N.E. 2nd in Dumas. They request memorials be to the Sharron Duby Memorial Fund, Killgore Memorial Library, 124 S. Bliss, Dumas 79029. Sharon Motley PLAINVIEW - Sharon Motley, 53, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1997. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lemons Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Don Robertson, pastor of College Heights Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Motley was born in Olustee, Okla. She moved to Halfway in 1952 and attended school in Plainview. She then moved to Hart in 1956 and attended school there. She married Weldon Motley in 1959 at Hart. She moved from Hart to Plainview in 1970 and worked at Heritage Home until 1992. She worked at Plains Convalescent Home from 1993 to 1994. She retired in 1995. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hart. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Motley of Plainview; a son, Gary Motley of Olton; her parents, Myrle and Vanita Bradley of Plainview; a brother, Lonnie Bradley of Plainview; and two grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
