Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Family Life Chapel of First Baptist Church with the Rev. Alvin Petty, pastor of First Baptist Church of Halfway, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Terrell was born in Fedsville, Tenn. She was raised and went to school in Irick Community. With her husband, she farmed in Bellview Community. She was a member of the Esther Class and the First Baptist Church of Plainview. She married John Thomas Terrell in 1934 at Olton. He died in 1979. Survivors include a daughter, Pat Castleberry of Plainview; a son, Buster Terrell of Irick Community; a sister, Leona McElroy Hamilton of Irving; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Rebecca Allman HALE CENTER - Rebecca Allman, 87, died Saturday, May 30, 1998. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Plainview Memorial Park with the Rev. Scott Jimenez, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Hale Center, officiating. Arrangements are by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home. Mrs. Allman was born in McKinney and lived in Hale Center for 82 years. She graduated from Wayland Baptist College and was a school teacher. She was a member of the Easter Star Chapter No. 38 where she was a worthy matron. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She married Edmond Dawson Allman in 1933. He died in 1987. Survivors include two daughters, Janice Sackett of Pampa and Sharon Bell of San Francisco; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Connie Fuentes DIMMITT - Connie Fuentes, 56, died Sunday, May 31, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home, Ivey Chapel, with the Rev. Tom Mullins, pastor of Abundant Life Family Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Fuentes was born in Brownsville and moved to Dimmitt in 1962. She was a homemaker and a member of Abundant Life Family Church. She married Jesus Fuentes in 1961 at Brownsville. Survivors include her husband; a son, Albert Fuentes of Abilene; a daughter, Connie Gamez of Dimmitt; a brother, Carlos Guerra Jr. of Friona; a sister, Mandy Degenri of Dallas; and seven grandchildren. Thomas William Owen WHEELER - Thomas William "Bill" Owen, 88, died Saturday, May 30, 1998, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Wheeler Cemetery with Bill Morrison, minister of Wheeler Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home. Mr. Owen was born in Wheeler and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Wheeler High School. He retired in 1971 after 31 years as owner of Wheeler Texaco Station. He retired in 1990 from the city of Wheeler. Mr. Owen served as mayor pro-tem for several years. He also served on the Wheeler Independent School District board of trustees for 12 years and on the Panhandle Regional Planning Commission. Mr. Owen was named Man of the Year in 1979 by the Wheeler Chamber of Commerce and awarded the Pioneer Spirit Award in 1997 by the Chamber. He was a charter member of the Wheeler Kiwanis Club and a member of the Wheeler Masonic Lodge, Wheeler Chamber of Commerce and Wheeler Church of Christ. He married Doraeen Vic Wood in 1935 at Texoma. Survivors include his wife of Amarillo; two sons, Burley Owen of Amarillo and Ray Owen of Lubbock; a daughter, Billie Jones of McKinney; two brothers, Luke Owen of Corpus Christi and Albert Owen of Farmington, N.M.; a sister, Letha Krhut of Wa Keeney, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Alzheimer's Association, 2200 W. Seventh, Amarillo, Texas, 79106. Amarillo Mary Frances Klein Mary Frances Klein, 69, of Amarillo, died Saturday, May 30, 1998. Vigil services will be at 6:30 p.m. today in Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ken Keller officiating. Mrs. Klein was born in Anton and had been an Amarillo resident for 40 years. She retired after 20 years of service with the Santa Fe Railway. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Prather of Amarillo; two sons, Keith Klein of Olympia, Wash., and Joe Mercer of Austin; her mother, Lillie Mae Tennison of Amarillo; a brother, Bill Tennison of Orange; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
